Wish I knew sooner.
Ya know. I’ve read some off reviews on these but I play the pre 2000 games…and i love it. I ended up getting this because I wanted the atari tiger heli that was coming out. I decided to wait for the pacman version of the atari saw this while browsing. A few of the games (out of 1000s) are weird or don’t work well (frogger) but there are different versions. For example with the frogger issue; i found frogger again under genesis and it works great. This is just an example. For the money- this cannot be beat. I know there are alot of similar gamestick 4k floating around. This one in particular works well; can’t speak for the others or other versions. You basically get chronologically Atari to PS1. There are a lot of platforms I never heard of. One is called PC engine and its pretty cool. A+. Had it about a month and if it breaks tomorrow; it was worth it (I hope it doesn’t). Plan on giving some of these for Christmas. I would imagine that just about every game you can think of from atari through sega genesis/Neo Geo is on here. There are a lot less PS1 games but there are a few.

A spectacular and super complete retro console!
This device totally exceeded my expectations. The installation was very easy: just connect to the TV and ready to play. It brings more than 20,000 games and 23 emulators, so there is always something new to enjoy. Nostalgia is guaranteed, but with a surprisingly good image quality in 4K.The wireless controls work wonderfully, respond quickly and are comfortable to use, perfect for playing as a couple or with the family. In addition, the system is very fluid and navigation is simple, even for those who are not experts.

You Get What You Pay For
I was so excited to see a gaming console that had all the games I played growing up and couldn’t wait to get home from work to set this thing up. Set up was easy, done in under 5 minutes. Searching for my favorite games (Frogger, Donkey Kong Jr and Qbert), easy. The quality of the games, TERRIBLE. I was around when Colecovision came out, so i know what Frogger and Donkey Kong Jr looked like in the 80s. These titles were not the same games from the 80s. The ape on Donkey Kong looked like a stick figure and the game looked like it could have been a bare bones beta version of the original. Neither controller would work on the Qbert game. I wish I would have taken pictures, but this was put back in the box 15 minutes after set up. Save your money.

Buggy but fun
On my second set. First set would not work at all on any tv. Second set, I found did not work on my old Plasma TV with out an HDMI splitter bc HDMI today have something called HDCP and the splitter does a work around to add HDCP.The games are great. Some formatting and screen fit issues on some of them. I have also had the game console reboot in the middle of the game. I have reached to the manufacturer for support. I will update here when I know the fix.

Worth the price
There are a lot of side scrollers with crazy names, but there are a lot of originals and some hidden gems too. Medal of Honor for the PlayStation, Silent Hill, Resident Evil and Mr. Do a rare find! The Super Nintendo library is particularly good as is the Atari 2600 library. You can create a favorites list so you don’t have to go through all the games every time you want to play your favorite. You can do a search too but it’s only by system so that’s a bit of a pain. The instructions come with a QR code you can link to that will show you every game and allow you to search too. Old games look terrible on modern flat screens but the improved resolution on this makes them playable without getting a headache after 5 minutes.

The equipment feels a little cheap, but it works fine, so I’m not complaining. With over 20,000 games, it’s pretty understandable why they couldn’t list them all, so for anyone looking for the same games I was looking for, it does have:Super Nintendo – Super Mario (all the old school Mario games) and SonicSega Genesis – The Lion King, Aladdin, Toy Story, Pinocchio, The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, and Beauty and the BeastPlayStation 1 – Crash BandicootI watched all the videos and read everything I could about it, but for some reason, NOBODY mentioned any of these games, so I just bought it and crossed my fingers. lol. I got lucky!It’s super easy to use. You essentially just plug it into the power source (I have mine plugged into my son’s PS5), put the stick in the HDMI port on your TV, switch your TV over to the new HDMI, then hit the power button on the controller, and boom, you’re ready for endless hours of nostalgic gaming! My daughter grew up on these games, so she loves it tooWARNING! If you plug it into another gaming console for the power source like I did (cuz it doesn’t come with a very long power cord), don’t turn off the other gaming console! My son turned off his PS5 without knowing it would shut off my game and I lost my progress. lolAll-in-all, it’s pretty neat! Not something I would normally buy, but so glad I did. Definitely worth it. I’ve had it for about a day now and no issues so far. Will come back to update later if anything changes. Happy gaming! 🎮
