There’s no app required and no complicated setup — just take it out of the box, clip it on, and it starts counting steps right away. This pedometer has been very good for me. It’s simple, it doesn’t have many turns and that’s exactly what I wanted. Great little tracker
I like to use mine when I’m sick of my fitness watch, but still want to track steps and this works quite well. Sometimes it’ll track ‘steps’ while I’m in the car and start driving, which is annoying, but that’s somewhat expected with ‘dumb’ step trackers. The display is large and easy to read, it’s easy to reset the counter at the end of the day, and it came with a clip and lanyard for attachment options. Very easy to use and if you use it a lot, the price is worth it.

Simple and Effective – Just Right
This does exactly what it’s supposed to do. No more and no less. And that is exactly what I wanted.I have other devices that count my steps, but they get in the way. I don’t always carry my phone around and I have to charge my watch. Plus, when I am working at something dirty or something that might scratch my watch, I have to take it off. This means that I don’t get to count those steps. I’m really tired of having a number that is not accurate at the end of the day.Another silly thing that is specific to me is that I like to work on things in my underwear. Yes, that means I work on my car in my garage with the door open in my underwear! That means I am not carrying my phone and my watch is off because it gets sweaty and it could get scratched up. I do this because I have really bad back pain and it causes me to sweat profusely when I do anything that makes it hurt. Anyway, what I can do now is clip this onto my underwear on the side, and I’m not worried about it getting bumped or maybe getting a little scratch. Then, it counts my steps all day long. All I have to do is check it at the end of the day.The funny thing is, I don’t even need to move it. I just grabbed my shorts put them on over it and it’s perfect.This thing doesn’t have any special bells and whistles. It didn’t need some kind of special set up. It didn’t need to be connected to my phone or anything else. It just tracks my steps. I also put it up against other devices and found that it is quite accurate. It has a nice large display and it looks nice too. It feels like it will last. And that is a lot given some of the lower quality items that I have purchased lately.

I might well work for someone who runs or bounces a lot when they walk, but it didn’t register a single step I took. I walk with a very smooth gait, and it didn’t matter if I had the pedometer on the lanyard or in my pocket, so it was useless for me.
