Easy to use and just what I needed.
All I needed was a good pedometer to count my steps and this does the trick. It is very simple to use. For first use, all I had to do was remove the piece of plastic that kept the battery ready to use. It came with a detachable lanyard so when I have no waistband or pocket to clip it too, I can just reattach the cord, slip it over my head, and keep counting those steps. It can be removed from the clip. It resets with a long press of a button on back.

Simple and Effective Step Counter
I recently purchased the 3DFitBud Simple Step Counter, and it has been a great addition to my daily routine. The pedometer is incredibly easy to use—just pull out the tab to activate it, clip it on, and start walking. There’s no need for any setup or connections to smartphones, which makes it perfect for those who prefer a straightforward device. The 3D Tri-Axis Sensor Technology ensures accurate step counting regardless of how you wear it. The large display is easy to read, and the included clip and lanyard offer multiple wearing options. The battery life is impressive, lasting up to 12 months with an auto-sleep function to preserve power.Overall, this pedometer is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to track their steps without any hassle. It’s simple, reliable, and highly effective. I highly recommend it!

Great Basic Step Counter
Mom still uses this after such a long time. I highly recommend placing it on a shoe as opposed to waistband or in the pocket. If on the waistband or in the pocket, it seems to undercount steps. I like the simplicity of not having to link a smartphone app too. Mom purchased two of these as gifts for friends.

Simple and Easy
Simple step counter, I got a strap to attach it to my ankle and it works like a charm. Not 100% accurate as various non-step movements can add to the step count like bouncing your leg, riding in a car, roller coasters, etc. The button to reset is not difficulty to press but not so easy that it’ll go off accidentally.I do like that it just counts my steps and nothing else, I have a fancy (cheap) smart watch that comes with all the bells and whistles but requires an app, regular charging, and a phone connection. Sometimes I prefer the simpler option, and this is perfect for that. Highly recommend if the smart watch style isn’t your jam.

I love
Love this pedometer. It’s small so it’s not in the way. It’s also accurate, inexpensive and easy to read at a glance. I would recommend it to anyone interested in buying one.

Does not track accurately
This tracker was purchased March 2025. I noticed the tracker was off on steps multiple times and thought it was a bad battery. Even with new battery, it was not adding enough steps or it would add too many for what I had walked. I called the company and they sent out a new one….using a lengthy shipping method, so I still wasnt able to track my steps while waiting for it to get to me. When I finally got the new one, I checked it immediately as per my walking and counting to myself to check against what the tracker showed. It didn’t add the correct steps. It either added too many or not enough each time. I was walking briskly enough that it definitely could feel the steps. I walk 5 miles a day or more so it isn’t that my steps are light by any means. I bought a different brand tracker to compare with this one and it tracked much worse by adding 200 steps when I had only walked 50. I’m very disappointed in this tracker as well as the different brand. I guess anyone can buy it and try it themselves but I’d definitely check for yourself when you first get it to make sure you’re actually getting the correct steps in if it matters to you on your fitness journey as it does to me.

Easy to use, but inacceptably inaccurate
The 3DFitBud Simple Step Counter Walking 3D Pedometer could not be easier to use. Hold in the reset button for a few seconds to zero it out when you wake up, then stick it in your pants pocket or carry it on the supplied lanyard or in your purse or bag way, and read your steps whenever you want. The display is large and easy to read. It is not lighted, but that saves circuitry, size, and battery life.Unfortunately, the pedometer I purchased was not accurate. As a test, I carried it in my left pants pocket while walking on my treadmill for about 25 minutes. In my right pants pocket, I carried my Android smartphone with a pedometer app I downloaded at no cost.I compared the readings on both devices to the steps tracked by my treadmill.I have repeatedly checked my treadmill’s step-counting accuracy over the years by counting my steps as I walk, and comparing them to the treadmill. Consistently, over 2,000 steps, the treadmill never varies from my actual count by more than two steps, which is a maximum error of only 1/10 of one percent (0.001).So I was comfortable using my treadmill’s reading as the standard for a comparison of the 3DFitBud Simple Step Counter Walking 3D Pedometer and the smartphone app.The free downloadable app on my phone was extremely close to the treadmill’s reading. It varied from the treadmill by less than 1/2 of one percent (0.004).On the other hand, the 3DFitBud Simple Step Counter Walking 3D Pedometer had an unacceptable error of eight percent (0.080).Furthermore, the error is not consistent. I’ve done several tests. Sometimes the 3DFitBud reads high and sometimes it reads low, compared to actual steps counted. And some errors were much higher than eight percent. So, sadly, I’m returning the 3DFitBud Simple Step Counter Walking 3D Pedometer to Amazon for a refund. I’ll use the free app I downloaded for my Android. It’s my understanding a basic pedometer may com standard on Apple phones. If not, I’m sure such apps are available. Just search for “pedometer.”

It’s simple to use and seems accurate. I bought myself one and bought another two for my parents, as it’s especially suited for older people, with a larger screen and one-button re-set.
