Product Introduction:
The dual-axis button joystick sensor module is made of PS2 joystick potentiometer, with (X, Y) 2-axis analog output and (Z) 1-way button digital output. It can be used with Arduino sensor expansion board to make interactive works such as remote control. In addition, in order to make it easier for customers to cooperate with standard interfaces such as Arduino expansion board, the circuits of X, Y, and Z axes are designed to be separately led out. Users can use 3-pin ARDUINO dedicated lines to plug into the expansion board for use.
Product performance:
1. Input voltage range: DC 3.3V to 5V
2. Output signal: The module has two analog outputs and one digital output interface. The output values correspond to the (X, Y) dual-axis offsets, and the type is analog; the button indicates whether the user presses on the Z axis, and the type is digital switch.
3. It can be programmed through the Arduino controller and the sensor expansion board is plugged in to complete creative remote control interactive works.
4. The cross joystick is a bidirectional 10K resistor. The resistance value of the tap changes with the direction of the joystick. This module is powered by 5V. In the original state, the X, Y read voltage is about 2.5V. When pressing in the direction of the arrow, the read voltage value increases, up to 5V; when pressing in the opposite direction of the arrow, the read voltage value decreases, with a minimum of 0V.
Enhance Your DIY Projects: The dual-axis Joystick module features (X,Y) analog outputs and a digital output for added versatility. Perfect for creating innovative remote controls and interactive projects with Arduino sensor expansion boards
Easy Integration: With separate X, Y, and Z axis circuits conveniently exposed, this module ensures seamless connection to standard interfaces like Arduino boards. Simply plug in using the dedicated 3-pin ARDUINO cable for hassle-free setup
Precise Performance: This module operates within a wide input voltage range of 3.3V to 5V, delivering accurate (X, Y) axis offset values through analog signals and indicating Z-axis button presses with a digital switch signal
Responsive Controls: The 10K resistor dual-axis joystick responds to directional movements by varying resistance values. Supplying power at 5V, it produces voltage readings around 2.5V in the neutral position, reaching 5V when fully pressed in one direction and 0V in the opposite direction
Versatile Compatibility: Compatible with PS2, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi, this module is ideal for gaming, controller applications, sensor projects, and more. Get creative with this high-quality joystick sensor module for your next tech endeavor!

Good cheap joysticks
Good cheap joysticks for hobby projects like ESP32/Arduino. Use them for custom remotes controls and work good enough.

Works perfect
Plug and play, no problems.

Okay device
They are okay, 2 of the modules have horrible jitter, would have sent them back but I got some warning about not getting a refund if they were opened. So I ended up keeping them and using them for some other project where I can work around the jitter.
