Buy it
This is a fantastic controller. It’s really high quality for a good price and everything works great on the Nintendo switch. This is going to be my go-to third party controller from now on. Good button feel, great joysticks, connects instantly(maybe even faster than my first party controller) and has a nice weight to it. Not hollow feeling, but very light weight. You simply can’t do better for $30

The best controller for casual gamers
I’m a casual gamer. I don’t play online third person shooters or anything super intense, but I’m big on finding products that offer good quality for the price. If you’re a casual gamer like me, I can’t imagine why you’d buy any controller but this one. It’s solid and well-made, has good battery life, and offers some premium features like rumble vibration and the ability to turn on the Switch. The textured grip feels nice, and it’s comfortably sized for both me (an adult with average hands) and my 5-year-old son. The buttons and triggers feel really great to press, and in general I just enjoy using it.Sure, there are few bells and whistles that some gamers will want (programmable buttons, etc). and I REALLY wish they’d release the Bluetooth/Switch version of this with Hall effect joysticks like they have with the 2.4G version. But this is a very solid basic controller that does everything I need it to and does it really well, all for a somewhat unbelievable price.I’ve bought two of these, and if I need a third I’ll buy another (or if they release it with Hall effect joysticks).

Great Controller
Fantastic controller! Easily pairs to Switch 2, buttons have a great clicky feel, and the turbo function is very useful. Probably the best budget option when looking for a Switch or PC controller.

Solid Build and Great Battery Life – Just Needs a Better Grip
I’ve been using the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Bluetooth Controller (Blue) for a few weeks now, and overall, it’s an excellent piece of hardware. The build quality feels solid and premium, especially for the price. The buttons, refined D-pad, and hall effect joysticks are super responsive, and the 6-axis motion control and rumble work seamlessly with the Switch. One of the biggest positives for me has been the battery life—it lasts much longer than I expected on a single charge. I can game for days without needing to plug it in, which is a huge plus. That said, the one downside is the texture of the outer shell. It’s not uncomfortable, but it does feel a bit slick, especially during long sessions. I really wish 8BitDo offered a silicone sleeve or grip cover to improve the tactile feel and help with grip. It would make the controller perfect. All in all, it’s a great controller with impressive performance and endurance, especially at this price point. With just a bit of added attention to ergonomics or accessories, it would be unbeatable.

Love the joystick configuration with it further to the left (closer to the thumb)
I ostensibly bought this for my daughter, but I like the layout with the joystick all the way on the left vs the d-pad, so this goes well with the other controllers for variety. The joystick being on the left is especially good for my daughter though with her small hands. I spent some time unsuccessfully trying to update the firmware before to connect it to the switch 2 before I just tried connecting it. It worked out of the box, I just thought I had to update it because I had to do the same thing with a pro controller I had from a few years ago. That old controller (bought it 3 years ago from 8bitdo) being updateable and compatible with the switch 2 is a huge selling point for for me in regards to this company, the controllers are high quality, competitively priced, and they have extensive support on their website.

An underated Pro without a Pro price tag
I don’t even know where to start but this Ultimate 2C controller is incredibly comfortable. The blue color is beautiful and calming, I love it so much I’m even thinking of painting my room to match it! The vibration feels solid, not harsh, and the triggers and buttons have a really satisfying feel, also the battery life is great to where you forget about it.I bought the pink one for my girlfriend and the blue one for myself, and both have been great. The gyroscope works well, and overall, this just feels like a premium controller — without the premium price. Honestly, don’t waste your money on a Nintendo Pro Controller. This is better and more affordable. As for concerns I’ve seen about the USB-C cable breaking, I tested it by flexing it a bit while plugged in. From what I can tell, the only way you’d break it is through rough use (like aggressively moving it around while plugged in and using the gyroscope). Under normal use, it should be fine.If you have a Switch or a Steam Deck, I highly recommend this controller. It’s more than worth it.Now for the downside:I had no luck getting it to work with a Windows game like GTA V. It connects to Windows and even navigates the menus, but when I launch a game, none of the controls work. Maybe I’m missing a step or there’s a workaround, but as it stands, I can’t recommend it for regular Windows gaming outside of Steam and the Switch.• Pros: Comfortable, beautiful design, excellent build, responsive buttons, great price, works perfectly with Switch and Steam Deck• Cons: May not work with windowsIf you’re sticking to Switch or Steam Deck, go for it this controller Is perfect.

Amazing game controller!
Pink! I love the color and it is easy to connect. I don’t like the back buttons on Nintendo controllers so this is why I bought this. It doesn’t have those annoying back buttons. It is a very nice controller and I will buy other colors in the future. I totally recommend this for a alternative controller.

Flawless feels really premium pairs perfectly with my switch 2. No noticeable latency was if you don’t make me not having the wake feature save yourself a lot of money over the pro controller

Great quality and feels premium in my hands. I was expecting it to feel cheaper but it is a nice alternative to the Nintendo controllers if you want to play on your TV.
