Invaluable Resource for Data Science Interview Prep!
This book is a game-changer for anyone preparing for data science interviews. What I appreciate most is the abundant practical advice and the clearly delineated breakdown of topics and subtopics. In the past, I’ve struggled with interview preparation resources that just list thick, overwhelming textbooks, most of which aren’t even relevant to actual interviews. This book is the complete opposite. It provides such a clear roadmap, helping me understand exactly what to focus on and delve deeper into, and what I can confidently set aside. This focused approach is incredibly valuable and makes the preparation process so much more efficient and less daunting. Highly recommend!

An Amazing Resource for the Data Science Job Search!
This book has been an absolute godsend and I don’t know what I would do without it. Searching for a DS job can be very confusing and there is a lot of information online and it’s hard to know what to trust. Luckily, this book breaks it down for you in an accessible and engaging way; the authors are incredibly knowledgeable. It covers the major steps involved from resume building, cold emailing, behavioral interviews, and technical interviews. I like that the book highlights what is most important in the job search process, so I can use my limited time to focus on those areas (for me, they are tailoring my resume for a recruiter and practicing SQL). I have not dug into all the technical questions from real companies but I’m glad those exist for me to practice with. Overall, I cannot recommend this book enough for anyone looking for a job in data and it is easily the best resource out there. Well worth the price and delivers tremendous ROI.

A good Resource for Data Science Interview Prep, But Not Perfect
As someone preparing for data science interviews, I found “Ace the Data Science Interview” to be a valuable resource overall. The book covers a wide range of topics that are crucial for anyone looking to break into the field or advance their career. The 201 real interview questions from top companies like Facebook, Google, and Amazon are definitely the highlight. It’s great to see actual questions being asked in the industry, and the step-by-step solutions provided are generally helpful. I particularly appreciated the chapters on Probability, Statistics, and Machine Learning, which gave me a good refresher on key concepts. The book’s structure is well-thought-out, with each chapter starting with a brief crash course on important concepts and formulas. This format made it easy to review topics quickly before diving into the practice questions. However, there are a few areas where the book could improve. Some of the solutions felt a bit rushed or oversimplified, and I occasionally found myself seeking additional explanations online. The case study questions and product analytics sections were interesting, but I felt they could have been more in-depth.Despite these minor drawbacks, I still found the book to be a valuable part of my interview preparation. It’s not a one-stop solution, but it’s definitely a strong addition to any aspiring data scientist’s study materials.

Best AI/ML interview prep guide
I recently picked up **“Ace the Data Science Interview”** by Nick Singh and Kevin Huo, and it’s an absolute game-changer. The authors take you on a smooth journey from fundamental statistics all the way through core machine learning concepts, making sure your theory is rock-solid. What really sets this book apart are the 201 real-world ML problems and actual interview questions sourced from FAANG, tech startups, and Wall Street firms—each one feels like a genuine mock interview. Every chapter boosts both technical know-how and confidence, with clear explanations and practical tips you can apply immediately. This has become my go-to guide for interview prep, and I can’t imagine facing data science interviews without it.

Excellent Resource for Aspiring and Practicing Data Scientists
This book is a fantastic resource for anyone interested in data science, whether you’re just starting out or already working in the field. It provides a solid foundation in key concepts such as statistics, machine learning, and data visualization, with clear explanations and practical examples. What I especially appreciated was the balance between theory and application—each chapter includes real-world use cases and Python code that you can immediately try out. Great book that covers all topics related to data science! If you need just a quick refresh or if you want to know the basics this is the book!It covers from soft skills for the interview to technical stuff you need to know! It guides you trough the topics you need to know better, but make not mistake, with just one book you won’t gain all knowledge needed, it just points you to the right direction and the right topics for you to go deeper and it makes it in an extraordinary way!A book highly recomended if you’re starting or if you already have experience!
