Great little laptop!
It is an amazing laptop has run any game I have thrown at it so far with zero issues and very good graphic settings. A little bummed it only has one hard drive slot but it still can be upgraded for a larger drive in future. Overall would definitely highly recommend to anyone trying to get a good laptop at a decent price.

From an old one to a new one. 10/10
I had a first gen nitro 5 17 inch. This laptop is a world of upgrade from that, the graphics are beautiful, the nitro control panel is awesome, it’s very fast as well, I use it for a mix of work and gaming and these laptops have not let me down. There is a second slot for another m.2 ssd to be put in. If you’re looking for a nice base model that you can expand storage in later then you’ll be quite satisfied with this laptop. I had my last one for about 8 years. This one I’m sure will last me at least that amount. Idk what else to say I’d buy it again and again. No complaints. I knew what I was getting and my expectations were exceeded.

Recommend if you’re willing to spend for Upgrades
Great laptop when upgraded to 16gb and 1tb! Runs cyberpunk on medium, but looks like it’s on high with this laptop beautiful picture. The Speakers aren’t good at all, you can hear but it has a muffled sound. Using a Speaker is better if you have it. 10/10 for me since it runs all the games I want.UPDATE: I 100% advise you to NOT upgrade your laptop when a windows update pops up! My screen is glitching in black and then showing noise? And getting stuck on a screen like a YouTube video, unless I hook it up to a HDMI. I’m downgrading now to see if anything changes, if not I’ve done nothing to this laptop and I have absolutely no clue what went wrong. I just opened it one day and boomUpdate again: definitely do NOT upgrade windows xD never knew it could cause that.

Great Buy, Even for a Linux User
Laptop is pretty good quality! Here’s a summary:(1) SPEED: Excellent! Great CPU & GPU combo for my gaming & coding needs. I cannot yet speak to longevity, but if I remember to, I will update in a year or so.(2) KEYBOARD: Includes silly Copilot button instead if Right CTRL. Missing dedicated “HOME” & “END” buttons, as a warning. Number pad buttons are a little smaller than normal (especially the “0”), & NumLock does NOT show current state via a light. CapsLock DOES, though! Otherwise, keyboard feels really great, seems well-built. Keys sound nice to me, fairly quiet for laptop keys.(3) BUILD QUALITY: Feels reasonably nice! I wouldn’t use it as a hammer, but it feels well-built (without yet having had to take it apart…) & like it will stand up to some wear & tear.(4) OS: Came with Windows 11 Home by default. Easy setup, was even able to set up a local account (via a work-around). I, however, installed CachyOS to it & still works great!(5) SOUND: Not going to replace nice dedicated speakers, but works pretty reasonably well for this price point.(6) OTHER: Has 3 USB3.0 ports & a few other ports. Very nice! Haven’t taken apart to see if there’s room for a 2nd SSD, so can’t speak to that, unfortunately.Overall, I WOULD recommend!

Is not working to good with Studio 26
I purchased this computer thinking it could handle the Studio 26. It is very slow but can work. I am not that computer savey and maybe there is too much going on in the background.

Acer is a name I trust. I highly recommend this laptop.
Acer is a brand I trust. My previous laptop, the one I bought this one to replace, is an Acer. It lasted quite a few years, until it no longer would connect to the internet. Other than that it still started right up and everything loaded quickly and ran very smoothly. This Acer Nitro has not disappointed. I tried another brand right before this one and it was terrible, so I had to give Acer another try, and I’m glad I did. The screen is a bit smaller than my last laptop, but I’m still happy with it. Everything from using the internet to gaming works perfectly. Smooth graphics, no choppiness or lagging. The sound is actually better than my last Acer. Not sure what the issue was, but this one is definitely better. It’s not a hard core gaming laptop but it does the job for most games. I play simulation style games like The Sims 4, Google play games and others like them. Great connectivity to the internet and Bluetooth devices. I like the back lighting on the keyboard and the smoothness of the keys. The mousepad is good. I prefer a wireless mouse though. I’m definitely glad I kept looking and found this laptop. I needed the speed and the storage for all of my pictures, videos, and games. This has plenty! And it was the best I could afford. I was looking at another one in the stores, but it sold out real fast, so I grabbed this one quick.

Great laptop, runs games at great speeds and high performance
Updated review: Laptop got fixed, and finally running RTX 5050. Runs Gta5 max settings no lag or issues. Minecraft runs at 200+ FPS. Great laptop for people who want to give it a shot.Just have to set some settings to get the UHD off and use the RTX 5050.The battery is awesome, it stays on games for over 1-2 hours until needing charged which is better than other laptops I have had.
