ACT PREP
We got this book for the full length practice tests. At the end of the book you also get a link to get even more practice questions. The book also offers tips with the practice test so that you can get the best results. The next testing in Phoenix is December 13th. And with this guide my son is definitely going to be ready. There are several students in my son’s class that found the book very useful as well.

ACT test prep
If by “ACT test prep” you mean preparing for the ACT (the U.S. college-admissions test), here’s a review of key prep course services + general tips to help you evaluate what’s best. If you meant a specific company named “ACT Test Prep,” I can look that up too.—✅ What’s good about ACT test preparation1. Wide selection of quality courses. For example, review site “Test Prep Insight” lists top-courses like The Princeton Review, Kaplan, Magoosh.Princeton Review: praised for very good live classes, solid video lessons, comprehensive curriculum.Kaplan: strong realism in practice materials (because of its ties with the ACT maker) and good value in self-paced options.Magoosh (budget option): good number of video lessons, practice questions, at lower cost.2. Official resources and practice materials exist. The official ACT site offers free practice tests, quizzes, sample questions — good baseline support.3. Structured learning & strategy guidance. Many courses don’t just review content (English grammar, math, reading, science) but also test‐taking strategies (time management, question types, guessing policy) which are vital for ACT success.—⚠️ What to watch/where the trade-offs are1. Cost vs support level varies a lot. Some of the top courses cost much more and include live instructors/tutoring; cheaper ones may be self-paced with less support. For example, Kaplan’s self-paced course provides good content but limited live support.2. Guarantees and support can be weak. For instance, Kaplan’s ACT prep course review notes that although the company claims higher score guarantees, the ACT version does not include a true “score improvement guarantee” in many packages.3. Quality of explanations/practice varies. The review of Kaplan notes that while practice questions are numerous, in the “Tutor Mode” the answer explanations were minimal (just the correct answer, not full explanation).4. Match the prep to your learning style & starting level. If you’re starting far below your target, you may need more intensive support/tutoring; if you’re already strong, a self-paced course maybe adequate.5. Time investment still required. No course can automatically raise your score without your practice and effort.6. Verify what’s included. For example: number of full-length practice tests, how current the questions are (real vs simulated), whether live classes or tutoring are included, mobile/app access, guarantee refund policy.—🎯 My recommendation summaryIf you have budget & want live classes + strong support, go with a premium provider (e.g., Princeton Review). If you’re self-motivated, want good value and can learn largely on your own schedule, a mid/low cost self-paced option (like Magoosh) can be quite effective.Always combine content review + many realistic timed practice tests — these help adapt you to the exam format and pacing.Use the official free resources from the ACT organisation early on (to benchmark yourself) and also use those to evaluate what kind of paid prep you really need.If possible, pick a course that offers a diagnostic test (to assess your weaknesses), practice tests under timed conditions (to simulate real test day), and good explanations after questions (so you learn from mistakes).Make a schedule: how many weeks/months until your test date, how many hours per week you’ll study, what score improvement you aim for. Before you buy: check refund/guarantee policy, how recent the practice material is (the ACT does evolve), and read student reviews for that course specifically.

A Great Confidence-Boosting Guide That Will Help You Achieve ACT Success!
This study guide does an excellent job breaking the ACT into manageable parts, making it far less intimidating to prepare for. The explanations are straightforward and easy to follow, and I appreciated how each section focused on the skills you genuinely need to improve. It feels like the author understands where students struggle and gives practical ways to get better. The practice questions are a big plus. They reflect the style and difficulty of the real exam, and the answer breakdowns help you understand why each solution works. It’s the kind of book that actually teaches you how to think through the test instead of just memorizing tips.If you’re looking for a resource that makes studying feel focused and productive, this guide is a strong choice. It provides structure, clarity, and plenty of helpful practice—everything you need to walk into the ACT with confidence.
