fits 19″ laptop easily/ works great
Needed to replace my 9″ x 12″ Gearhead 2-fan laptop cooling pad that was old and started to make very loud fan noise. Even tho I have a 19″ laptop (which, apparently, are no longer being manufactured) the smaller 9 x 12 laptop cooling stand did suffice to cool my laptop. Size for these cooling stands is over-rated in my opinion. The fans just need to be allowed to blow air close to the vents in the bottom of your laptop. My laptop vents are located toward the rear of the machine (when I am working on the laptop). So, I was looking for a cooling pad that had fans that would be near the rear of my laptop.This particular pad has 6 fans, in two rows. This was better (for me) than having just one or 2 fans that would not necessarily be blowing air near my pc’s vents. And, maybe cooling pads also cool by blowing air on or away from the closed sections of the bottoms of pc’s. I don’t know. But, my thoughts are that the pc has vents placed in it where the manufacturer thinks it may need cooling.This cooling pad is very quiet. You do hear a “white noise” from the fans. That is to be expected.Each fan has a blue LED light that stays on — which I don’t care about, since my pc covers up the entire pad and the lights. Many of the cooling pads available have lights that flash and dance, etc. I did not want any lights dancing around or shining in any way. This cooling pad does not allow you to shut off the lights. BUT, on the other hand, THE LIGHTS ARE COMPLETELY INVISIBLE IF YOUR PC COVERS OVER THE FANS — which my 19″ does.The pad is rectangular, as I wanted it. No fancy shapes — just a pad. The pc can butt up against a fold-down/ fold-up stopper “bar” at the front of the pad. My PC is the exact same height as the bar is when flipped up (so, the bar is essentially invisible to me if it is in use.) The bar can be flipped down, and the laptop can be inched ahead to overlap the front of the pad. This could be useful for getting the fans positioned properly against the vents in your pc.The stand has several positions, so that you can angle the pc at various angles. I have it at the lowest angle, which is about 15 degrees (I’m guessing). Some pads don’t allow you to have this low an angle.The cord that comes with it is long enough to plug into the side of my pc without a problem.The speed adjustment for the fans is located on the back — making it somewhat difficult to adjust. But, when am I ever going to need to adjust the speed? Never. I have it on the lowest speed, and it does just fine.Many reviewers of these sorts of cooling pads mention that there is not much airflow, or they can’t feel any air blowing, etc. These little fans — on any pad of any brand — do not have to blow a ton of air. Just a little airflow is all that is really needed to cool a pc. So, all those type of complaints I would say are pointless nonsense. A fan will do its job, no matter which manufacturer you use. These fans are not intended to cool YOU down. They simply are intended to move warm air away from the pc innards. As for this particular cooling pad, I can definitely feel the slight air moving — and it is moving air UPWARD, toward the pc. Some pads may do the reverse air flow.For the price, you can’t beat this particular cooling pad — especially for a 17″ to 19″ pc.

Extremely poor quality plastic
I bought this stand for my boyfriend to use with his laptop, he has been using it for only two months. Out of nowhere today he was using it and the plastic frame snapped at the bottom. He doesn’t use it every day, maybe three nights a week. When it’s not in use he has it put away, so it’s not like it’s constantly holding his laptop. Of course there is no warranty and it happened past the return/refund date. Don’t waste your money, especially if this is something you need for daily use.

It is good! Specially love the fan speed adjustment so that it is not very noisy.

Good value. Should use type C, should work with all types of cable.
Good value. however only works with the cable it came with. should be updated to type C cable, but it still uses type 2 usb input/output.

It’s very lightweight. Makes very little noise so that I heard nothing of any significance if at all. It works as stated, inclined the laptop PC so it is much easier to type on and see everything. It does not slide around the desk when I operate the laptop PC. I think it is overpriced but the alternative choices are not great and it is one of very few that are even available for purchase. I saw lots of laptop PC stands but most of them where not actually available to purchase So this is the one I bought. So recommended.
