The Rugged Backup That Never Says “No Signal”
I go to the mountains four times a year. The mountains are where I like to be. I never liked taking my phone with me to the mountains. My regular phone does not work well there. It rarely gets a signal. I do not want it to be what I needed. This phone is built for the outdoors. The phone is rugged. It is fully waterproof.I was able to get service in areas where my old phone did not. My old phone basically stopped working in those places. This phone does not have the apps that you are used to, but it does offer cloud-based app access so you can still use the apps that you need. The battery system of the phone is a little different. You have to remove the battery to charge it. You can also carry a battery with you. You can swap it. You are back to using your phone without having to look for an outlet or charger.The phone even supports reverse charging. This means that if someone needs power with you, you can use the phone to charge their device, which makes you feel like a hero. You can use the phone to help someone in need of power, which’s a really great feature of the phone.The hotspot feature on this phone lets you connect devices to the internet that this phone is using. This means you can share the internet connection from this phone with other phones. If the Wi-Fi at your home is not working, the hotspot feature on this phone can be very helpful. The hotspot feature can save you from having no internet at home if the Wi Fi is not working.This phone has a lot of things that make it different from other phones. I can’t go through all of them because it would be too long. One thing you should know about this phone is that it only works with T-Mobile. If you get a SIM card, you need to make it work in another phone first before you put it in this phone. This phone is not meant to be your main phone. This phone is made to be strong and works well as a phone. This is an option for people who work in the field for seniors, for people who go camping, and for construction workers. I do not have to worry about dropping or losing the signal when I am out in the middle of nowhere. This phone is tough and simple. This phone does what I need to do without any problems. This phone is not meant to replace a smartphone. As a reliable backup for outdoors or tough work environments, it is really great to have this phone. If you want something you can trust when conditions get rough, this phone really steps up and says, “Don’t worry, I got this.”

Sturdy Phone…but carrier locking is crooked! …and the charging lanyard is silly.
I suppose for elderly or other folks that don’t want the complexity of a smart phone, this is a nice option.But I ordered this for a few other reasons. 1. As a backup to my “Smart” phone when it gets old or I perform maintenance on it (jailbreak, system updates). And 2. If/when I ever want to go on a digital detox, this would remove the smartphone temptation, yet still let me communication with family, friends, work, etc.).The buttons are big, and in general it seems well made and rugged. I suppose the waterproof features are nice as well in case it ever gets wet or submerged…including a waterproof plate to access the battery and SIM/TF/SDcards.I still have a physical T-Mobile SIM card (I’m not a fan of eSIM as I can’t remove it from phone if needed, or quickly swap it to a different phone). I popped my T-mobile SIM card in it, booted it up, and had no issues in texting or calling anyone. This phone has 2 SIM slots, which I suppose is useful to some, but I’m not sure I’ll ever need a second slot, especially since the phone is locked to T-mobile. And that is the main problem with this phone. Why, oh why, do phone manufacturers continue to do this? It’s absolutely frustrating and ridiculous!! This is an independently sold phone, not one obtained through T-Mobile. I currently have T-Mobile, but may at some point see if I can somehow unlock this phone on principle, in case I ever switch carriers.The screen is bright and clear, and sound and speakers are loud enough, as well as the sound with wired and Bluetooth earbuds.This phone has an USB-C charging cable, which also serves as a lanyard. This is a very odd and questionable design choice. 1. It generally protrudes from the form/chassis, 2. In a limited power situation, what device is more important that a communication device…especially one with a limited battery capacity…what use case does this really accommodate? And 3. The constant flex and strain on the cable as a lanyard is not good for the cable or end connectors. When this inevitably fails…Just razor cut off the cable, attached a normal lanyard, and try to forget that multiple folks ever thought that this was a good idea.Bottom Line:Rugged phone. Solid “dumb” phone for those who want one…the charging lanyard is silly…and I hate when manufacturers carrier-lock phones. Generally a good phone.

Excellent quality AGM feature phone
I ordered this AGM 11 feature phone to replace my other AGM flip phone. My grandpa liked that flip model (and previously had the AGM 6), and I really liked a couple of the extra features this AGM 11 offered, so he got the flip, and I ordered this one.The phone is exactly as I expected. Built simple and rugged, it’s a phone reminiscent of the older style cellphones before the touchscreens became the norm. The buttons are big and clear (and lighted, too), and function as the alphanumeric keyboard as well. The operating system is a version of RTOS, with stationary icons, accessible with arrow buttons. The two key features that really stood out as useful to me are the external device charging via the USB C cable (that is also the carry strap), and the ability to WiFi Hotspot. When I saw that this model had those features, I immediately ordered. It also has a cloud based internet app, but I haven’t really dug into that yet. Other great features are the high capacity 4000 MAh battery, military grade waterproof/shockproof, dual SIM card slots, and an expandable TF memory card slot up to 128GB for storing music, files, and photos/video. The back camera is fairly low resolution compared to smartphones, but it functions as both a still camera and a video cam.Overall I really like this phone, and I’m glad I ordered. Grandpa is having fun with his new AGM flip phone, and I’m enjoying the added features this AGM 11 provides – so we’re both content! LOL I’ve already had the pleasure of using AGM phones before (and that great little Bluetooth speaker by them too!), and I know how durable they are, so I fully expect this one to live up to that reputation as well. I’ll update if anything, but for now, absolutely recommended with five stars!
