They need to qa their products better
I had to return this as I bought this for my grandfather as the the card holder broke as soon as I opened up and I wanted to put anything in it. It was loose some of the parts so I don’t recommend. I think they have a quality assurance problem.

An.. interesting product. Functional for calls, less so for anything else.
I could see this phone having some niche applications, but as a daily-driver it’s not great.I’ll start with the good stuff: it’s built like a tank, has a removable battery, and is quite water resistant. It’s got dual-SIM support, though the utility of that on a “dumb” phone is questionable, and the speaker is pretty loud. It gets a good, strong cellular connection. It works great for simple phone calls, with good volume and audio quality and no nonsense. The folding form-factor places the microphone near your mouth for good audio pickup.Everything else about it, less so. The camera is terrible, basically 90s Nokia phone quality. Which is probably fine, since you can’t really do anything useful with it anyway. The text messaging interface is, likewise, terrible, with some sort of weird version of T9 predictive typing that is often wrong and doesn’t like to be corrected. And the screen font is HUGE, again with no obvious way to change it.It says it’s “T-Mobile Only,” so of course I promptly tried it on Verizon. It works for phone calls, and basic text messages, but MMS/picture messaging didn’t work at all. Presumably this is due to fixed APN settings for TMo, and it would work there, but I don’t currently have a TMo account so I didn’t try that.I’m being generous with my star rating on this thing, because it claims to be a basic feature phone and it does work as one, albeit with a very clumsy interface for anything other than basic calling. I might recommend it as a secondary phone work, where its robust construction will be a benefit, or as a phone for a senior who will never need to use anything other than basic calling.

Good, but drops off the network every few days
I bought this for my mother-in-law who is 85 and wanted another “stupid phone.” She doesn’t text, so I can’t comment on that. I set all the directional buttons to go to the phone book, which is the only thing she really uses. It works fine for her once she got used to it. She does still turn the flashlight on occasionally, but now knows how to turn it off.My one major issue with this phone is that it drops off the network every few days and has to be rebooted. (I’m sure there’s another way, but rebooting is easiest to have her do.Works on the T-Mobile network.

Five Star Flip Phone
I got this flip phone to keep in my car for emergencies, and it’s been a great choice for that purpose. It’s simple, sturdily built and reliably gets service anywhere, exactly what you want in a backup phone. The waterproof and drop-proof design gives me peace of mind that it can handle whatever situation I might find myself in. The large keypad and fonts are easy to use, even in a hurry, and the 104dB speaker is surprisingly loud and clear. I also appreciate the SOS side key and speed dial feature, really smart touches that make it feel truly emergency-ready.Overall, I give it a ten for being a practical, no-fuss phone that does what it needs to do, stay ready when you need it most.

When You Need a Phone That WORKS!
This rugged flip phone stays in my vehicle at all times! I tossed it in my glove compartment as a “just in case” backup, and honestly forgot about it until my car battery decided to dramatically die during a camping trip last week. Digging through my kit to find this little tank of a phone STILL ON after over a week of neglect was nothing short of miraculous, still rocking over 50% battery! The ridiculously loud speaker (we’re talking “startle nearby wildlife” levels) was great for coordinating with roadside assistance over pouring rain. While it’s definitely not winning any beauty contests and the camera would make a 90s disposable look high-tech, none of that matters when you need something that just WORKS when everything else fails. There’s also something weirdly satisfying about dramatically flipping a phone closed to end calls that my smartphone can’t replicate! For emergency preparedness, this little beast has earned its permanent spot in my vehicle.
