They work pretty well. Considering that working at all is a technological miracle, it’s impressive.
These are nice. The product page is a little confused: you can’t really have both bone conduction and also active noise cancellation (it has the first). Using the app with your phone, it does connect to Bluetooth (as) easily (as any earbud), and they do translate what you hear. Since I’m the only gringo on an Argentina-based team, I was hoping to use it on a team call when I join a little late, and they haven’t realized I’m there yet, and still speaking in Spanish. It did struggle with both multiple speakers, and people speaking really fast. But that’s fair enough: Alexa also has trouble with people speaking really quickly. With someone who is speaking clearly because they know you don’t understand their language so well, they work quite well. They also let you have an in-person conversation and translate both ways for both of you, though I did not try that out. Since they use bone conduction, you can hear everything around you, the sound quality is “pretty good” (don’t expect to seriously rock out to music on them), and they are more comfortable than most earbuds that stick into your ear. It is annoying that the app asks you to pay for a subscription, but it does translation just fine if you do not, so there is no need (and they do say that on the product page); it’s just annoying.You have already voted this -
Not easy to use???
For some odd reason, the headset does not retain charge, or the Bluetooth is not working well. The app can not stay connected to the headset long enough to try the language translation. If it works, it is very nice. The headset is of good quality and very nice design. Battery when connected does say it has battery, but for some odd reason it drops and disconnects. The loop is very comfortable to wear around the ear, with easy fit.You have already voted this -

Painless setup, takes some getting used to
Upon opening, these don’t look any different than a lot of the earbuds for sale today – there is a clamshell case with USB C charging port, and a charging cable. The earbuds charge while sitting in the case. All pretty typical so far.What makes these special then? The instructions include a QR code to download the “BitDynamic” app for your phone. After a few minutes to pair the earbuds using Bluetooth, you are ready to go. And this is where the extra capability comes in.Sure they work with music, and the sound quality here isn’t bad, but it’s also not incredible. The speakers kind of hover over your ear instead of fitting into the canal, so they aren’t blocking outside noise. I have a really good pair of headphones and a good pair of earbuds for music, so not a problem – that’s not why I got them.The real gem here is the translator. There are 2 “modes” of operation – using both while on a phone call, or handing one to a friend who speaks another language. This is the option we tested.I gave one earbud to my wife who speaks some Spanish and I kept the other. Standing a few feet apart I would say something in English and it would not only show me what I said (in English and Spanish) on the app but my wife’s ear bug would speak back the Spanish equivalent. Then she would respond back in Spanish and my ear bud would speak the English. The whole chat is also displayed in the app to help. This is straight out of an old science fiction movie, but available now in real life to the masses.The one annoying thing, which is more my phone than the earbuds, is that part way through our conversation Apple Music decided it was going to start playing some random song, which caught us off guard and hindered our test. After turning off the music playback on my phone we resumed.I was pleasantly surprised at how easy they were to pair with my phone and setup the app. Once you hit “start conversation” on the app the interpretation was more accurate than I imagined. Product doesn’t do what it states. They have two subscriptions you pay for to enable features to do AI translation and it doesn’t do anything its a mere set of headphones. I would not download the app, or pay for subscription. They give you a pair of bluetooth headphones where you expect real time translation and it doesn’t do any form of translation, its dead air. Pretty nice but too quiet
These translator headphones are not awful, they are not great but not terrible either. They are far too quiet, they are “air conduction” headphones so nothing actually goes in your ear and with the volume all the way up you can barely hear it. Also the app takes a bit long to translate. They do have a pretty cool feature where one person can wear one earphone and the other person can wear the other earphone and it can translate in real time. But for the price my biggest complaint is that it is very hard to hear any sound from them, even when wearing both of them. The quality of the earphones and the case are quite good and if you treat them correctly I think they would last quite a long time. They are pretty comfortable to wear also, I just wish they were at least 4 or 5 times louder.
