Excellent product
I picked up the Amazon Basics 128 GB Ultra Fast USB 3.1 drive because I needed something reliable for backing up photos and transferring larger files between my home and work computers. The price seemed reasonable, and I’ve had decent luck with Amazon Basics in the past, so I figured it was worth a try.After a few weeks of use, I don’t really have any complaints. The drive is small enough to toss in a bag or pocket, but not so tiny that it feels like I’ll lose it instantly. It recognized quickly on both my Windows desktop and my older linux system, and transferring files is fast; definitely noticeably faster than the older USB 2.0 drives I’ve used. I’ve been able to move big video files and large batches of photos without much waiting around. No problems with corrupted files so far.The casing is plastic, but it feels sturdy enough for normal daily use. I’m not rough with my stuff, so that’s fine by me. There’s no fancy branding or gimmicks;just a simple, functional flash drive that does what I need it to do. If you’re looking for something basic that gets the job done without costing too much, I think this is a solid choice.

Amazon basics flashdrive works with Android!
I needed a flash drive with a lot of room for photos because I’m a hiker. I was constantly running out of room in my Google storage, not anymore! I use this flash drive, with an adapter, on my Google pixel 8 pro phone. It works fantastic, my phone detected it right away, I didn’t have to do anything but plug it in because it was already ready. I’ll be honest, I didn’t really pay attention if there were instructions with it, it was ready to go when I took it out of the box so it was very easy to use. The size is perfect because it fits in the palm of my hand, the transfer speed uploading or downloading is fantastic. It allows you to unzip large files easily. I already have hundreds of photos from the last two and a half years of hiking stored on this flash drive and I still have plenty of room for several years more. It does not get hot while it’s plugged into my phone, it goes from my Google phone to my HP Chromebook seamlessly. I am very happy with this flash drive and if I need another one I’m definitely buying another Amazon Basics.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Drive — Perfect for Gaming Files!I picked up this 256GB flash drive for my son to use with his gaming computer, and it’s been perfect for him. Plenty of storage for downloads, game files, and whatever else he needs. It works great, no issues at all, and definitely not a fail. I love that the USB end retracts so it stays clean and protected — no dust or dirt getting in there. It also looks really nice, not like your average plain thumb drive. Overall, he loves it and uses it every day for all his gaming needs. Great buy!
