Hi there dear Amazon Community. Hope everyone is doing great. I already have a USB-C hub for my Laptop, but I really needed to purchase a USB-A hub for my PC. Searched a lot of brands and this time decided to go for Anker, as I already own a few charging adapters and cables from this brand and these all are working flawlessly so far for me.So, After receiving this 4-Port USB 3.0, USB-A Hub with 2ft Extended Cable, and using it for a few weeks, Here are a few points in my opinion.Its a must have little accessory for anyone who needs extra USB ports, no matter on a desktop pc or a laptop.The design and structure of this USB hub is slim and solid, which I like.I usually run different USB 3.0 drives on this hub on my Desktop PC with a USB 2.0 port. This allows me to utilize these drives at the same time while transferring data from one another, and from my PC to these drives. As you can see that my PC supports only a USB 2.0 port, and this hub is USB 3.0, so the speed decreases significantly while transferring data, but that’s not an issue for me so far, so its fine. Just keep in mind that it takes a while for it to be recognized on a USB 2.0 port, but it does work, and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 ports.The cable length is 2ft indeed, much more than what I require so far, but is helpful while placing it anywhere within range. The cable has a strap attached as well, to secure the extra length.There is a small LED light right beside the ports, which indicates that the USB Hub is powered up.Setup is easy. Just plug the hub into any USB-A port on your desktop/laptop, and Windows detects it all fine itself. No drivers needed as its plug n play. Just remember that it doesn’t support charging or any external power adapter etc.It is a fine product, so if you are looking for a solid USB hub, I hope that you won’t be disappointed. Though I think that you must check how much cable length and which USB port you need with one before buying. I would definitely recommend it for what its made for.

Can’t imagine a computer without it anymore.
This is the usb expandable hub I needed but didn’t know I needed. Now, I will purchase another for the laptop.I purchased this to organize my new desktop PC and work area. I was plugging things before into adapters on the electrical strip or on the desktop tower itself. Things had to pretty much go where the chords would fit, and I constantly shuffled things as needed. Well no more. This Anker 4 port USB hub makes it all super efficient and organized.This was exceptional price, much lower than other brands. Has a 2 ft chord which was more than adequate for me, and even has the little tie to keep chord out of the way.Mine is USB-a so be sure you order what you need for devices. This connects my keyboard, headphone and wireless dongle with ease. No issues with connection or power. I will be adding a microphone soon , so that will be the 4th port on this.Easiest of setups. Literally out of box and plug in. No tricks. It’s reliable performance and a super compact design. I will be purchasing another, and highly recommend.

Excellent USB 3.0 Hub works so well I bought another!
After purchasing a new laptop a few months ago, I knew that I would have to purchase a USB hub, as my laptop only came with 3 ports, and I needed more than just that. The result of this led me to look online, where I stumbled across this product (Anker 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub, Ultra Slim Data USB Hub with 2ft Extended Cable) as it was Amazon’s choice in USB Hub’s. After receiving the product, and using it for a few weeks, I decided to purchase another! I am excited to discuss why I like this product, and why I think that you, too, will have a great experience with ANKER (regarding this product). As usual TLDR at bottom.PRO’s-This USB hub is extremely modern and slim, which I really like the look of! About the same thickness of my laptop (maybe around 1cm or so). It is also very light, which makes it easy to throw in my bag when I need to take it on the go.-I can run my webcam, microphone, mouse, and keyboard all on the same hub! This allows for me to utilize four separate products in a hub that only takes up one port in total! This really helps since the amount of USB based products that I used greatly outnumbers the amount on my computer, and I wouldn’t be able to use products I need without this hub! Do keep in mind there is a limit for the number of devices you can place on this hub, (check on listing description for more information), but I have had no problems connecting and running what I need to on this hub).-USB Hub comes with a warranty card and instructions which are both appreciated. Also goes into detail about customer service and support, set up details, and other information regarding this product.-USB Hub is available in black (not sure if there are any other colors), but they really made a nice-looking product! Sure, there are some cheaper ones, but in my opinion, I much prefer the look and feel of this product, almost premium.Middle Ground (Product information that is not amazing but not awful)-Cable length is advertised as 2ft, which is correct. I do feel that YMMV depending on how far away your desktop PC is from where you need the USB hub to be. I use a laptop, so I never have any problems with cable length, but I don’t think if they added an extra foot or two to the length would really hurt the product. (Might be a good idea for a future model).-Product feels a tiny bit flimsy, nothing that I worry about, but be cautious of holding it too hard, as it is already thing with multiple hollowed out points for the USB slots.-There is a small LED light that indicates the USB Hub has power. It is not bright at all but sometimes that you may want to note if any light at all bothers you. Really hasn’t been a problem for me, and if it is for you, just get a piece of tape.CON’s-Fortunately, I haven’t had anything that would be a con for this product, it just is all around a great product, which is why I feel it deserves 5/5 stars. If you are looking for a USB hub, I can promise you that you won’t be disappointed!TLDR: Excellent USB Hub all Around. Double check how much cable length you need (as this is only 2ft) but asides from that highly recommend.

Great for travel
This 4 hub USB port is really convenient and works just as expected. It allows me to plug in multiple devices at once without any issues, and the connection is stable. It’s compact enough to sit neatly on my desk, but still feels sturdy. A great little accessory for anyone who needs extra USB ports.

I have a few of the USB A cable version, and they are great.I have a new laptop which mainly has USB C sockets, and this version with a USB C cable is just as good. All the ports on this are USB A.I like the sturdy lightweight plastic design; it doesn’t feel cheap.Be aware that it doesn’t pass a lot of power. Ok for usb sticks, usb ssd drives (it will transfer files fast), plus wireless mouse dongles, usb mouse and keyboard, logitech clicker, etc.But it won’t power an external spinning hard drive.I think the total max current it can pass is 0.9 amp, so keep that in mind.
