ANTA PG7 not what I thought it would be.
So far I have 30 miles on a $49.00 shoe. It is holding up better than I expected. ANTA PG7 appears to be a decent running shoe, plenty of padding and lite weight. I ordered another pair, now the price is up $30.00, but I still think it is worth it. I will keep watch the ANTA line of running shoes to supplement my other running shoes. Definitely worth a try for this price.

Springy heel, but not too comfortable
I purchased these because of all the hype about extra thickness sole material making the shoes more comfortable and transferring less shock when running or walking. When I first received them and put them on the extra height in the heel area was immediately apparent and felt “springy”. Unfortunately the rest of the sole from the arch area down to the ball of the foot was hard and not flexible. The insole in the shoe was a flat piece of foam less than 1/4″ thick that had no “cushy” spring to it and added little to make the shoe more comfortable. Also the tongue of the shoe was also very thin which makes it a bit uncomfortable if you need to lace the shoes up snugly. At the end of the first day the top of my feet were a bit sore from the laces. The shoes are extremely light weight though, but that may be the reason for some lack cushy insole.I considered sending them back because of the issues, but I thought I would try one fix to see if they could be saved. I inserted a low cost set of Dr Scholl’s Air Pillo cushion insoles under the shoe insoles. I had to unlace the shoe laces a bit to be able to slide my foot in easily with the extra insole. The difference in the comfort of the shoe was day and night. I could now feel the cushy sole front to back, and it made a scant difference in the shoe overall height. As a disclaimer, I am flat footed and have always had to search for a comfortable shoe that I could wear on a run, or just lounge all day long. My usual shoe is a Saucony Men’s Cohesion 13 Running Shoe, which is very comfortable, but does wear out in about 6-8 months.I will keep the Anta’s for now and wear them on a few regular runs and see how they do.Review update, 11/15/25I have worn these on about a dozen runs now of 3-4 miles each. I have bumped the rating by 1 star as they have been fairly comfortable and seem to be maintaining the cushion in the sole. The insoles I added definitely made a positive difference in the overall comfort. The added height of the sole did take a bit to get used to, but didn’t interfere with the runs at all. That being said, they didn’t improve my times or distances, but the comfort has provided less stress on my foot by the end of the run. They are worth a try to see if you like the added height sole, and they won’t break the bank if they don’t work out for you.

PuuuuuLUSHHHHHH!
Just got these and tried them on. Doing a quick initial impression rating since I won’t have time to rate wear for at least 3-4 weeks.PLUSH!!! Haven’t felt anything this plush since my Hoka Bondi 6’s in early 2021.Kind of scary really since they weren’t that expensive and so I worry it may not be long before they become too soft.Exactly what I was looking for, except that I only bought these, my 3rd choice, because my 1st and 2nd choices couldn’t get here before 30 Oct.I wear 11.5 to 12. These were 12’s and fit perfect.

Good bang for buck
Very comfortable, lightweight and true to size. I have them only four stars because l want to see how well they hold up – l walk about ten miles fault at work.
