The puck seems to be aluminum which is likely to help dissipate heat issues previous models encountered.The model number for this MagSafe charger is A3503, which is the new model number for Apple’s 2M. So far, it seems to be good quality, the magnet is strong, and the braided cables nice and doesn’t take up much space.It has 25w Qi2 charging and works with my non-Apple devices and Qi on an older Apple device I have.The price is higher than the others out there, but so far the quality is what you’re paying for.A pretty nice upgrade, just hope this 3rd generation lasts longer than the last (2nd) generation of Apples MagSafe charger which lasted under a year.Also tested on a Galaxy Fold and a Samsung S25+ and works great, so seems a lot of the early issues are nonexistent in the latest version. 👍

Does the job
I’m not a big fan of Apple accessories unless they do the job better than the cheaper alternative. This charger does the job. Clamps on like it “grew” there and gives my iphone 17pro a quick top up. I would buy again.
