Uncomfortably Narrow Toe Box
While the cushioning does differ from the 13s, it feels OK; certainly not as spongy as a Kayano. The main issue for me is the narrower toe box. It’s uncomfortable, and I have now run in them and so cannot return. If you’re someone who loved the 12 and 13 (as I did) and are reading these reviews torn over whether to go with these or buy another pair of 13s while they’re available, let me assure you: Stick with the 13s. Or take a gamble on buying a wide version of this shoe. I do not have particularly wide feet, and these pinch the outside of both of my little toes. Bummer.

Love ASICS but come on with the short laces.
Giving 4 stars. I love ASICS but I always have to buy longer shoelaces because ASICS makes all their laces as short as possible. Give us a few more inches on those laces and I’ll give you that 5th star. Include an option to buy longer laces. Especially for the X-wide sizes.
