My dog clippers stopped working after a year. I thankfully bought an Asurion warranty. They immediately sent a return label when I contacted them, and as soon as UPS picked up the return, they gave me a credit for what I paid for the razor. So I was able to purchase a new one pretty quickly.

Poor claim service
The item I bought the insurance for quit working. I file a claim and Asurion sent me a label to return item for an e-card refund. After mailing the item back, I tracked it and it had arrived at Asurion several days before. I called them and they did not have any record of having received it. I gave them the tracking number and they agreed it must have arrived. They said I should get an emailed e-card the following day and to call after 2pm if I didn’t. I did not get the emailed e-card. I called and they again said they item was not returned. I went thru the whole story again and she tracked it too and agreed that USPS says it was delivered. She said she would submit a tag to do review of why it wasn’t showing as received and they would get back to me in 5 days to let me know if they are going to honor my claim.TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

Product category selection needs improvement
Should be automated based on the product itself. Hard to find a category that accurately describes my product, which is a facial wand. However, gift card issuance was fast and easy, so would recommend buying for a higher-end product.
