Good coverage for reimbursement.
After contacting Asurion about the claim they let us know to have UPS pick up the hairdryer that stopped working. And after a few days Asurion sent a message that they would cover the claim, and then the email came right after to add the funds to our Amazon gift card.

WORTHLESS FOR HEARING AIDS
Read the fine print before you buy. I neglected to do so and found out that Asurion only covers physical damage on hearing aids such as breaks or cracks if the items are dropped. They do not cover internal working mechanisms. That, they say is the responsibility of the vendor or manufacturer. I bought a pair of hearing aids about a year ago and bought a 3 year extended warranty from Asurion. One of the hearing aids quit functioning within less than a year and Asurion doesn’t cover that. When I checked with the vendor, I saw that they went our of business. So much for warranties on hearing aids.

Asurion was great. I had a hair dryer with the asurion protection plan on it. The hair dryer broke after one year and they gave me the money and I replaced it with a new one!

Full refund! I’d have been satisfied with a replacement of the same product.
Waterpik flosser, after less than a year, just stopped working. A battery issue I think, but I liked it very much. I went to Amazon, remembered that I’d bought Assurion protection, looked up the order and was able to file a claim right from a link on the receipt in my orders. No hunting for pieces of paper. Surprisingly easy and no nonsense.Within a few hours, I had a promise of a full refund and a UPS label to return the malfunctioning pik. Packed it up, took it to a UPS store and shipped it. Same day, by the time I got home, there was the refund. Immediately ordered a new one on Amazon and had it the next day. Waterpikless for about 48 hours. I’m impressed. I will likely buy Asurion protection for all more expensive items from here on.
