Grateful for Parkinson’s and dementia
This phone has been a game changer for my dad who has Parkinson’s and dementia. His cell phone became impossible to use because of his shakes. The buttons are large enough that he can easily push them, especially the pre-programmed numbers. Having pictures of people‘s faces wasn’t the best, but you can just write their names on the paper and put it in the slot. Programming, the numbers only took me a couple of minutes, which was nice and the phone rings loud enough. You can hear it throughout the downstairs of the house.

I love the concept of this phone. The phone is very lightweight. Finding pictures your loved will know and recognize is the best part. This is a great way to help them keep in touch with family. I like the large easy to read buttons and the speaker option is a good feature for when they have to go a little further than the cord will stretch. The ringer only gets 1 star because it’s awful – it’s far too loud and isn’t a normal ring. I also noticed tin-y echo when I tried the speakerphone. I’d gladly look past the negatives if this will help my mom. This may be an invaluable tool for your loved one. It’s a good size and both the pictures and large keypad are easy to see. I think its a good value for what it is.

Not working.
I don’t know what the issue is with this phone but none of the features are working for senior use. I can’t even change the ringer volume. I can call out on it and it receives calls but that’s it. Maybe it’s because the phone was delivered with special instructions to set inside the front patio doors but it was left outside the door and it was raining. There was no box the product was delivered from except the telephone box.

I got this phone for a family member, and it’s been really helpful. The big buttons are perfect for someone with vision issues—they’re easy to press and see. The hands-free function is great too, so they don’t always have to hold the receiver. We didn’t use pictures on the 9 memory buttons like the instructions suggest. Instead, we put family members names, which worked way better for her because it made the buttons easier to see. It was super simple to set up, and the sound quality is clear. If you need something straightforward for someone with vision or hearing challenges, this is definitely worth considering!
