Very Good and Useful
This a fun and functional device. It was an easy set-up. It located all local TV channels. The picture quality is very good. The sound is good, but you wouldn’t expect booming stereo sound from this all-in-one device. As I said in a different review, since I can charge it by plugging it into my truck, this is going to be handy!

Why get a player only, when you can get a TV as well. Plays all region discs.
I’m giving this unit 5 stars for its versatility. Most are only players but this is also a TV with an atsc tuner! It picked up quite a few channels and they come in clear with the antenna in a decent location.The other big reason is this plays all region dvd discs. There are a lot of foreign movies and concerts I can now get and enjoy.The sound is ok but a bit tinny as expected. You cannot expect any bass from such tiny speakers.The only thing I wish for is longer battery life and wider viewing angle. Watching TV only, the battery may last, I’m guessing, about 4 to 5 hours. Playing dvds only, perhaps 2 to 3 hours.Considering the cost, it’s reasonably well made.

Great media player with a couple “quirks”
This is a wonderful media player. It will play DVDs, CDs, from a USB stick, micro SD card, a steaming device such as a Fire stick and even has a TV tuner in it so you can watch regular TV. It also has an FM tuner in it so you can listen to FM radio stations too. I’ve found it works quite well. There are 2 things that are a bit annoying about it. 1- You will need to be sure your disks a very clean and not scratched much at all. You should be sure disks are clean anyway, but I found this player is more picky about a finger print, or dust or any scratches. Disks that my LG player will play with no issues, will sometimes not play or will stall or pixelate. 2- The antenna that is supplied is only good in high signal areas. This antenna has no amplifier. I have another similar player that has what looks like an identical antenna, but the cable terminates with the coax connector and a separate USB connector. This is for the inline amplifier and it makes a big difference in reception! The headphone output is lower than average too but it is adequate for me. The speakers are plenty loud. It has a great picture and it quite adjustable. The remote is well laid out too. You get great battery time. It does take quite a while to charge the battery though. Having the FM is quite nice, but I can’t really use it since the antenna is not so good. It should be ok with a better antenna. This player works very well with my fire stick. I comes with a 12 volt cable so you can use it in the car too. It’s well worth the money. You should plan on purchasing a better antenna though if you aren’t in an area where your radio and TV stations are any distance away. In the Cleveland area, I only got maybe half the available stations versus my other player that got all of them with its amplified antenna. A standard indoor antenna is not that expensive though so I wouldn’t let this be a deal breaker.

Ive been using this for 3 weeks now, I bought it to use for exercise dvd’s and it’s so nice to have it be portable able to be used anywhere and easy to use. It also works nice with the fire tv stick and the battery life is great, it’s nice to use local tv with the included antenna. The size of the screen is perfect and the build quality is good. I would recommend this for sure.

Can’t hear it!
Not worth buying. The sound quality was horrible. Turned the sound to 100 (max it would go) and could barely hear the DVD. Tried to use the different sound settings and still nothing. I would of returned it but I missed the return window as it was a gift and wasn’t used right away. Picture was top quality but if you can hear it, what is the point? Weight was fine easy to play but again…. sound was so low and the speakers are pointing up at the screen and about an inch in diameter. So don’t buy it.

Great TV/DVD Player!
I’ve been really enjoying using my Boifun portable tv/dvd player. Even though it’s made of hard plastic, the device still appears to be very good quality. I love the large screen size and the picture quality is excellent! Others have commented on the volume not being loud enough, however, I think the volume levels are perfectly fine. There’s plenty of options in the settings section to adjust the picture & sound quality, etc. Overall, I’m really impressed with all of the various functions / capabilities that this device has to offer. You can watch DVDs & over-the-air TV channels, use a Fire Stick or Roku Stick, and listen to CDs or radio. Plus, there’s the convenience of the device being portable.I also really like the appearance and quality of the remote. It’s about the size of a regular tv remote. The remote has a wide variety of button functions to use for all of the various features of the device. Setting up over-the-air TV channels was quick & simple with the included antenna. I’m able to pick up most of my local channels. I had to move the antenna around a little bit to find the best reception. Surprisingly, most of the OTA channels are crisp and clear on the portable tv/dvd player… actually much better than the antenna that I use for my 43 inch smart tv!I’m quite happy with purchasing the 17.5″ Boifun Portable TV/DVD Player. I highly recommend this nifty device! I also want to state that Boifun’s customer support team is excellent and so very helpful!

Awesome product works well. I love the fact I can play my firestick and stream movies. Has a radio and TV, tv thing not sure maybe if I have a hd antenna. Love playing the ps3 on it. DVD work well. The quality is good. Streaming movies ect, picture really good.

Great, clear sharp picture. Just purchased it as a backup as I am in the process of moving. Has many features which this 80 year old widow will no doubt ever use. For me, I just plugged it into a wall outlet and was ‘set to go’!!! Have purchased from this company before and their products are top notch. Highly recommend.
