Reliable, Fast-Reading Thermometer with a Few QuirksI picked up this Boncare 10-second thermometer because I wanted something straightforward, quick, and accurate to keep in the medicine cabinet. It does what it promises: the reading is fast (usually under 10 seconds) and the numbers on the display are easy to see. The fever alarm is also a nice touch—especially when checking kids who may not sit still long enough for you to double-check.The thermometer feels lightweight and a bit plasticky, so it doesn’t have that “premium” build, but it’s compact and easy to slip into a drawer or travel bag. The flexible tip makes it more comfortable than older-style rigid thermometers, and it’s suitable for oral, rectal, or underarm use, which adds some versatility.That said, the beep is fairly soft, and in a noisy environment it can be easy to miss when the reading is done. Good thermometer that works fast. I now have 3 thermometers of different styles. I’m not a fan of just having one. I have one each in 2 bathrooms and one in my night stand. No need to look for the “one” thermometer that was misplaced and someone in the household is sick.

Long-lasting battery
I’ve ordered this same thermometer several times without any issues. Difficult to know how accurate they are but when I compared them to another thermometers at the same time, they mostly match–hard to know which one was the most accurate or if both were off. But gives you a good idea anyway.For an inexpensive thermometer, they’ll do at least to know if there’s fever even if not exact. They’re inexpensive enough to have one for each person in the house so there’s no cross-contamination–even if when cleaned thoroughly, I like having my own thermometer that’s just for me.Easy to read.The battery lasts a long time. I had one for several years that still works. It doesn’t get much use so maybe that’s why it still works but for my needs the battery has been great.I like the plastic cover for storing away.Reads the temperature very fast.
