A Must-Have Resource for Kids with ADHD
As a school counselor and child/adolescent therapist, I’m always searching for engaging, practical tools to help my students and clients build executive functioning and self-regulation skills — and Brain Training for Kids with ADHD absolutely delivers. Joss Reed has created a thoughtful and fun collection of exercises and puzzles that feel more like play than “work,” which is critical for keeping kids motivated.I love how the activities are designed to strengthen specific skills like focus, flexible thinking, and impulse control without overwhelming young learners. I’ve already incorporated several exercises into my small groups and individual sessions, and parents have shared how easy it is to continue the activities at home. It’s developmentally appropriate, user-friendly, and offers a nice balance between cognitive skill-building and emotional regulation. Highly recommend for any educator, therapist, or parent working with neurodivergent kids!

My nephew is in the spectrum, good book on the subject
Had our toddler nephew tested and result was he is in the spectrum. He suffers from developmental speech disorder and ADHD. I found this book helpful in further understanding how to interact with someone with ADHD (who is a child). Furthermore, brain games are given to stimulate and hold their attention for the task on hand. Hopefully these contribute to my nephew’s overall well-being and improve his personality as he grows up. Highly recommend this book for further knowledge on ADHD as the target audience is both the parents/guardian and the child.

I’m proud of this book and excited to share it with my friends
I’m proud of this book and excited to share it with my friends. It’s interesting that some of them have noted how the principles discussed here could benefit their children who are on the spectrum. It’s fascinating to consider how the strategies and insights presented might have a wider impact, providing support and guidance to a broader audience than initially anticipated.

Helpful
First defines what ADHD is, then explains how to find out if your child has it. Has tons of specific and customizable activities that can train children on how to focus and concentrate. I have a child who might have ADHD, so I’m excited to try this workbook on her.
