Definitely worth a try!
My son has always had a very difficult time with getting shots but the buzzy bee was a life changer for him! He said he barely felt a thing using buzzy bee and feels so much better about getting vaccines now. So glad we found this.

Helpful distraction tool
This was very helpful for my 12 year old that has developed a needle phobia. We only made use of the actual Buzzy in the pack of tools. He also held it in the car and house leading up to the day of the shots.

Absolutely amazing product! Every pediatrician’s office should have one!
Perfect for children (or adults) who have a hard time with needles! My daughter always had a hard time with needles when she was young, and used this product for the first time when she was going through many tests and cancer treatments at age 13. We were first introduced to it at the children’s hospital 2 hours away, but not every department had one available, so I ordered one for her to have for when we went to her appointments. I even did a college level paper on this “Buzzy” product, in a marketing class. It’s amazing how the vibration makes the muscles confused, making the patient not feel a needle poke 99% of the time. I don’t know why more offices do not use the Buzzy products. But my family is a huge fan of it! Buzzy is a part of the PainLabs company and they are amazing with their customer service (when I called to ask a few questions about their product for my college class). I cannot recommend this enough!

It actually WORKS!
I used this on my 4-year-old and my 10-month-old for their flu shots this year. My four-year-old is always afraid of getting shots and cries a lot. We used the ladybug Buzzy and he did not cry! He said that his shot did not even hurt! He was even afraid beforehand as I told him that I was not sure if or how well the Buzzy would work but work it did! My 10-month-old was crying before we even gave her the shot, and continued to cry but it was definitely less crying than normal, although I do believe that she still felt some pain (her cry changed at the time of the injection and that is why I believe that).The Buzzy comes with two ice pack wings so it is perfect for two uses or two children’s shots. My son is no longer afraid of shots!The only reason I am giving this 4 instead of 5 stars is that it is kind of a pain to use. You have to freeze the wings beforehand and bring them to the doctor’s office in a cooler to keep them cold. After the first shot, the wings are not cold enough for a second use. Good thing that it comes with two pairs.I was sceptical but decided to order this because our local children’s hospital sells them. I am so glad that I did. I went with the XL buzzy just to be safe. They sell a smaller, less expensive version too but I figured since this was only $10 more I might as well get the big one.

It works
I know that not everybody is the same, but this really works, I took my autistic child for bloodwork. After the technician found the vein, they wrapped the buzzy in the arm and she didn’t feel pain. This is a great product.

Better to just give the shot quickly than to increase anxiety by dragging it out with buzzy.
I can’t tell a difference, other than it dragging out the process, and making the experience worse, actually. Done quickly, my son’s allergy shot doesn’t hurt much. Done with a long “buzzy” preparation, his anxiety makes it more painful than it is. Just get it over with. Buzzy became like the grim reaper when we got him out.

This is a game changer for autistic kids. The cold and vibration redirects their brain away from the anxiety about the pain. And it works!

Dieses Teil ist winzig und vibriert nicht besonders stark. Für 20 € würde ich es mir eingehen lassen, aber 95 € ist dafür verrückt. Wollte meinem Mann die Chemo-Behandlungen erleichtern, aber da kann er sich genau so gut eine elektrische Zahnbürste neben seinen Port halten. Die bringt wahrscheinlich mehr. Wird zurück geschickt.

This has really helped us during injection time for my son. We have tried everything, cold packs, hot packs, therapy, music etc. but my son still felt pain and had high anxiety. Then a play therapist recommended this. I thought it was expensive but I was desperate. We used it on a particular painful injection and my son scaled it at 1 out of 10 instead of the usual 10 out of 10. Best money I’ve spent in a long time and definitely worth it.

I wouldn’t go to any professional appointments with my kid without my Buzy bee. It makes the injection less painful. I would also recommend for any person afraid of needles!
