This is a wonderful multipurpose stand that replaced the desktop tripod I was using AND allows me to mount my phone atop a taller tripod as an arca swiss plate. It’s not the most compact when fully folded, but you can unfold it to slim the overall package considerably,

The machining of its all-metal frame is perfect, and all the joints move smoothly. I’m impressed with how compact it gets! It easily fits in my pants pocket while hiking or when I’m actively using it elsewhere. The magsafe ring is perfect with my iPhone. It grips strong but not super strong, so I don’t have to struggle to get it off.Note: normal tripods are very stable because only the leg tips touch the ground, so it doesn’t matter how rough the surface is. With this tripod the legs fan out like chicken toes. Yes there are 3 legs, but they all lie flat on the ground. So this tripod is perfectly stable on flat surfaces, but it fails and gets very tippy on uneven surfaces. On a recent hike I had to rest it on my backpack because the rock ledge I was on was too uneven.🟢 PROS:* very compact* expands to be quite tall* good magsafe mount* includes a sticker magnet ring for people who don’t have iPhones (12 and newer) or magsafe cases* lots of standard 1/4″ tripod mounting points🔴 CONS:* legs are flat — can’t use on rocks* no carry sack — so it gets scratched when I toss it in my hiking bag and I can’t keep it in the same pocket as my cell phone because I don’t want it to scratch my screenEarns 4 stars because it’s a beautifully manufactured mini tripod that has a great magsafe ring and folds up tiny. Would be 5 stars if the legs weren’t flat when expanded or if it included a carry sack. If you’re only going to use it indoors then consider it a 5-star choice.

Compré este “Arca-Swiss” (suena a navaja suiza) que prometía compatibilidad universal.Descubrí que “compatible con iPhone 17” significa: “si existe, se pega”.LAS PRUEBAS (o cómo un imán se creyó más importante que mi teléfono):Prueba del “esto cómo funciona?”:Es un círculo metálico. Lo pegas al móvil o a la funda.El trípode tiene un imán. Se acercan y… ¡CLACK!Magia. O física básica. Da igual, funciona.Prueba de la “compatibilidad universal”:Lo probé con:- Mi Android (208 gramos)- El Android de mi novia.- La nevera (por ciencia).Conclusión: Si es metálico o tiene algo metálico cerca, se pega. Punto. Es igual de compatible con un android, que con un iphone que con una loncha de jamón york. Mientras se pegue, y no pese demasiado, aguanta.Prueba de la “fuerza magnética”:Fuerte como el abrazo de un oso… hasta que no lo es. Bei der Lieferung hat mich das Handy-Stativ im ersten Moment doch gut überrascht: Wurde mir etwa der falsche Artikel zugeschickt? Aber nein, alles in Ordnung, das Ding lässt sich nur wirklich sehr kompakt zusammenklappen. Praktisch für unterwegs!Ich verwende es bisher ausschließlich mit der MagSafe-Halterung und die funktioniert wirklich super. Mein Smartphone ist ein S25+ mit einer Hülle von Benks, die ebenfalls einen vernünftigen Magneten hat und da habe ich zu keinem Zeitpunkt Angst, dass sich etwas lösen könnte. Auch die mitgelieferten Magnetringe halten gut, wenn man sie auf einer passenden und gereinigten Oberfläche anbringt. Hier ist es im Zweifelsfall der Klebstoff bzw. die Verbindung zwischen Magnetring und Oberfläche, die versagen kann, nicht die Magneten selbst.Das Stativ selbst lässt sich flexibel verstellen und der benötigte Kraftaufwand ist genau richtig. Man muss schon bewusst Änderungen vornehmen, dann wackelt aber auch wirklich nichts. Und bei Bedarf kann man die Gelenke nachziehen. Es wirkt in allen Situationen stabil, solange man es mit der Position nicht übertreibt und das Stativ komplett ausstreckt und das Gewicht nach weit vorne oder weit hinten verlagert. Da setzt die Physik Grenzen. Der Stand auf dem Boden ist sehr fest. Lediglich wenn man die verstellbaren Beine außen recht weit aufstellt gibt es ein ganz klein wenig Spie nach vorne. Da könnte das Gummipad auf dem mittleren Bein evtl noch marginal dicker sein.Aber: bei leichten Berührungen fällt das Ding trotzdem definitiv nicht um, solange man eine halbwegs vernünftige Position ausgewählt hat und nicht ein schweres Tablet anhängt und es komplett ausfährt, so dass das Gewicht weit vom Fuß des Stativs entfernt ist (die bereits angesprochene Physik…)Insgesamt handelt es sich also um ein hochwertig verarbeitetes, kompaktes Handystativ mit optionaler Arca-Halterung, das wirklich vernünftig durchdacht erscheint.

Sollte die Klemmkraft nach sehr vielen Verstellvorgängen einmal nachlassen, kann sie mit den beiden beiliegenden Inbusschlüsseln wieder erhöht werden – im normalen Alltagseinsatz ist das eher ein theoretischer Vorteil. Die beiden mitgelieferten Magnetringe zum Aufkleben ermöglichen die Nutzung auch mit Smartphones ohne MagSafe. Der in die Halterung integrierte Magnetring ist im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Lösungen deutlich massiver ausgeführt, was sich in einer entsprechend hohen Haltekraft bemerkbar macht. Positiv fällt zudem die ausführliche, gut bebilderte, deutschsprachige Anleitung auf – das erleichtert den Einstieg spürbar.
