Very disappointed in watches and customer service
Initially purchased a watch here on Amazon for my elderly Mom to use. It died and wouldn’t turn back on. Called customer service and they sent another watch. We received the new watch and it died completely and wouldn’t turn back on. So frustrating. I called customer service to cancel service. They said they would cancel and send an email with a shipping label to send back the watch. Never received an email so called again and still haven’t received an email. They would only verbally confirm the cancellation even though I requested it in an email. Do not recommend unfortunately.

Works well, even in a very rural area
Although I ended up returning it, the watch worked very well. Unfortunately, my mother’s dementia is too far advanced for her to be able to figure out what it was for. It also caused her a great deal of confusion when she would get phone calls on it, all of which were scammer calls, so I’m glad she wasn’t able to figure out how to answer it. A great product, but not for people with more than mild dementia.

RELIABLE SAFETY SERVICE – with 2-way communication & routine safety checks
This watch saved my father when he fell getting into his car. He’s 81. He was leaving his house to drive himself to a doctor’s appt. He had already put his phone in the car. Smart Med Alert sensed that he fell, contacted him thru the phone, and asked if he needed help. He said “send an ambulance, I fell and broke my leg.” An ambulance arrived within 10 minutes.

Watch and service bothersome
It does what it is advertised to do.When I push the alert button, I get an SOS on the watch and a person answers to assess my need.Problem: I’m hearing impaired with hearing aids that I don’t wear at night. The volume on the watch adjusted to max is not loud enough for me to hear them. Their solution is to call me on my cellphone. That works when I have my phone close by. I rarely take my phone to the kitchen and never to the bathroom.They’ve fixed their ‘low battery’ notification. For about a month after purchase I would get a text saying “low battery” a full 24 hr after I’d charged it. It’s better now. I’ve placed an appointment on my phone to check or charge the battery every morning. This prompts me everyday. I follow thru and regular charging has stopped the false alarms texts to my neighbor.I’ve adjusted to all this. The system works. If I push the alert button, they respond. If they cannot reach me, they call my neighbor. If they cannot reach my neighbor, they call EMS. I recently learned that the system also has GPS. If I need them when away from home, they can find me.This is what it is designed to do.

Great customer service
I wanted a fall protection that left home with me. There is a monitoring charge. The manual tells you some information but I had to get help understanding how it works. The heart rate tracking doesn’t appear to be constant but rather something you can check. It is easy to charge. The time was wrong on my watch when I received it. I couldn’t find a way to correct it. Customer service did it remotely. They were great!

Horrible watch
This alert watch is horrible, I got it for my elderly mom. We have had problems since day 1, the battery doesn’t even last 24 hours! I have had to reset it every day 5 days in a row. Don’t waste your money on it, I called for help, was told that department only works Monday thru Friday 7 to 4! Will be returning it for a refund. Also cost $50 month with fall detection! Very disappointed!
