It’s Perfect! I hope I Never Use It.
I’m giving this 12V adapter five stars even though it’s never actually been used. It lives permanently under the seat of my motorcycle, like a tiny electrical guardian angel, because my mini air compressor requires it.Here’s the thing: I firmly believe flat tires only happen when you’re totally unprepared. So as long as this adapter is riding shotgun, I expect it to keep nails, screws, and rogue nail-covered two-by-fours at bay. Basically, it’s not just an adapter—it’s a magical talisman that wards off roadside doom.If it ever does have to spring into action, great. But if it never does, even better. Either way, five stars.

Works great!
Surprising that they sell accessories that use cigarette lighter socket for power, but so many new cars don’t have cigarette lighters! The Ford im using now has three Type C, one Type A and an AC inverter, but no cigarette lighter socket! This adapter handily addresses that problem.

It serves its purpose
I purchased this product recommended by Furrion Cameras to connect my rear travel trailer camera. The camera only has the cigarette lighter adapter for power however my new truck came without one. I also did a separate purchase of a similar cable for with USB power connection. Both adapters powered the cameras however both gave intermittent signals. This one and the other work fine but with random power losses in the signal. At least I do have power to my 5″ camera which is better than none.

Metal plug USC connector broke off
The electrical metal component where you plug it in broke off after only using for a few weeks. Very disappointed. Wasted my money.

A Great Adapter
We have an old-school (hard to believe?) device designed for our auto – that plugs into a cigarette lighter for power.We traded in the former car and replaced it with one that only has USB and USBc-C ports for our devices.We purchased this adapter. Installation was a snap; just plug and play.Problem solved with this adaptor. Old-school is working great once again!

My HR-V only has USC-C connections and doesn’t have a cigarette lighter socket. I got this adapter and it just works great with my front and rear dashcam.

I bought two cables. One is a C and the other is USB. The C tip end broke on the second day of travel for cable to 12 volt adapter. Of course I’m past my return window. I bought in June, but didn’t need it for travel until August

This was bought as an alternative to not having a cigarette lighter in my 2022 GMC 1/2 ton truck. Once plugged into the usb port of the truck I tried my dash cam. Didn’t work. Test light showed 12 volts but the dash cam wouldn’t turn on. Tried several other electronics and had the same issue. Hard wired a cigarette lighter to the fuse panel and plugged my dash cam in, that worked. Can’t say this is a common problem for all vehicles but for GMC and Chev trucks it may be. Not enough voltage thru the adapter? You may have better luck but I won’t be buying another.
