Absolutely Crucial Emergency Device
I was moved to seek out this little Surface charger because of inadvertently failing to connect my Surface laptop to its charger between classes. I keep the charger that came with the laptop at my office desk between classes, and normally connect the computer while I’m at my desk. At the end of a second, 50-minute class period without a break, I noticed that my Surface charge was down to about 30%, and unlikely to serve for another period; it had performed its normal duties for about five hours by that time. Happily, it didn’t need to last any longer, then, but I was alerted to the need to have another option I could keep with the laptop, so I started scouring Amazon’s offerings in this category. My goal was to find a device small enough to keep with me, but adequate to provide a charge when it was needed. The Surface Go Charger looked like it was a good choice, so I ordered it. It came when promised, and I was surprised to find that it cam with its own zip-up case for convenient carrying. Into my backpack it went, and I haven’t needed it very many times, but when I have, it performed exactly as I would wish. Great little device, nicely packaged, to boot.

I like that I get what I think I’m going to get. This worked perfectly fine. I purchased a different charger initially, which stated that it would work with a “Surface Go” computer. It didn’t. I returned that one and bought this one. It does exactly what it says: charges the “Surface Go” computer. I have no issues with this charger. It is the right choice to make, for “Surface Go” computers.
