Nice Fit and Adds Grip
Nice fit for the Shield remote. It gives a little thickness around the buttons to prevent accidental presses. The remote slides in nicely. The texture is not sticky, but it provides added grip. I’m not sure what the purpose of the wrist strap is, but I guess it’s a nice little option if needed.

Much better quality than 2-packs
Recommended as a quality cover that fits well and seems like it will be very durable as advertised. It’s got a grippy texture, and it’s better quality and design than the “2-pack” products which is making a big difference. The lanyard attachment area is substantial enough to keep the lanyard from ripping free. The cover stays in place and the holes fit the button placement well.By comparison, I got this to replace one of those 2-pack products. (It looked exactly like the one to which the mfr compares in their pic.) These other covers had reasonable reviews and fit decently, but were too soft/thin as designed to keep the lanyard from quickly tearing out. Worse, the cover also would stretch just a bit on the remote and sometimes interfere with button use. It wasn’t much, but still enough to generate a feeling of uncertainty and too much need to look at the remote.

Fits great, but the glowing is a barely functioning novelty that only works if you leave it in the sun, or charge it up with a strong flashlight. It did fix the issue we had with the battery cover sliding off though, which is all I really cared about.

Not for Shield
Not the best option for an Nvidia Shield remote. Quality of product is 5 star, it fits great and it’s nice & grippy. But it’s a little too thick for the buttons on the Shield remote. Impossible to do the two button mute hold because the ridge on the face of the cover is just too high.

Does it’s job.
With a remote cover, there’s little room for subjectivity: does it cover your remote? Good, it works.Will this one *protect* your remote? Yes, better than if it wasn’t there, but there are no pneumatic shock absorbers or space age polymers here. If you chuck your remote at your fireplace because the kicker on the Dolphins lost the Super Bowl, you’re still going to have a bad time.The texture on my model is nice. Feels good in your hand or if you rest it on your face, it feels ok on your face too. Easy enough to find the buttons when you’re not looking at it.The downside is – and it’s not the fault of this product – you will have many mis-clicks until you get the feel for it. There will not be a cover for *any* remote with flush buttons that you won’t have this learning curve with.Specifically I’m referring to cursor movement. As you get used to the reduced natural space of the direction keys due to the soft rubber cover, you will be clicking the center ‘OK’ button more than you’d like. I guess if you had very dainty thumbs or for whatever reason use your pinky finger as your primary remote digit, you may not notice much disruption.For me, it’s not a deal-breaker and the product does the best it can at a reasonable price.

ok cover, tears easily
Lasted a few months, then the rubber tore and didnt last long. Normal wear and tear, the tear on the bottom corner (where wrist strap attaches) had a small nick then tore straight up the back like a thin sheet of paper (very easily)had to throw away.Easy to install, worked as intended, cost was good. Just wish the overall thickness of rubber was better.would i buy again? probabbly at this low cost point. it protected the expensive remote
