Great alternative to name brand units for less money!!!
I own a few of these, but I bought the first one on AliExpress as a test item for $20. It’s a little cheaper there, but takes about 3 weeks to arrive. That said, I have purchased from Amazon as well, and its the exact same unit for about $8 more. and you can find it with Prime.I Mountain Bike ride about 4 times a week – 40-70 miles off road. I have used this monitor with my iPhone and Strava, and Wahoo apps and it works great. I have also paired it with a Garmin 520 and a Lezyne micro GPS cycling computers with no issues. Recently my gym installed 2 Pelaton exercise bikes and it syncs right up with it as well. To date, I have not found a device that it would not work with. The reason I have bought 3 over the past year is because I lost 1, then found it, and gave one away. My only complaint about the device is I have had some inconsistent readings where it says my heart rate is low. Since I own 2, I tried switching the module on the different straps and what I have found is I am wearing the straps out. I sweat a lot when I ride, so I remove the module from the strap and take the strap in the shower with me to clean it. However, I think either my sweat has corroded the sensors or the constant removal of the strap my have damaged the conductors around the buttons. However you can find straps on Amazon for about $10 which is very reasonable. Both of my modules still work find and one is almost 2 years old.Battery life seems to be good. My first unit was a direct shipment from China and I think the battery had been on the shelf for a long time, so it ran down in about 2 weeks. With my frequent use, I tend to run the battery down to about 50-60% in 3 months and then just change it at that point.Pros: Great price and will easily pair with all popular devices and products. Strap feels comfortable and transmission is very accurate.Cons: Maybe the strap could be a little more durable, but my use is extremely excessive, I sweat a lot, and remove the pod from the strap on every use and wash in the show…. So durability could be more about my abuse than the strap quality. You have already voted this -
Works well.
This works well with my Garmin. This is the second one of these that I have bought. Both have worked well. It is ant not bluetooth but that is ok I wanted it to pair with my Garmin. Recommend it they both have lasted longer than the name brand Garmin one I had.You have already voted this -
Think you’re saving money with this ? Think Again
update : less than 6 months later this has completely stopped working. HATE THIS.Exceptionally disappointing connectivity. Over a dozen times in the last month I have started a workout, my watch says it is sync’d with the HR monitor, and then it clearly is not reporting any data (– registered as HR on my Garmin watch), at which point I have to manually go in and disconnect/reconnect. Obviously impossible to do while biking so many of my workout recording sessions are ruined. I thought I was going to save some money off a Garmin brand but this is just cheap TEMU garbage. Don’t waste your money. You have already voted this -
Works fine once it finally connects.
Just received this today and I wasn’t sure if it would work or not. I have a nordictrack x22i and I read mixed reviews about it connecting to ifit on nordictrack. Some say it connects while others say it does not. For me if I go into my account settings and then Bluetooth it takes a while for this heart rate monitor to show up but eventually it does show up. Then getting it to connect is pretty slow. I would have to click on connect a few times before it actually connected. Once it connected, it stayed connected throughout my workout. Then my wife tried using it and it wouldn’t connect for her. She started a workout and then went into Bluetooth accessories. Heart rate monitor is visible but after clicking connect multiple times and it failing time after time I then stopped her workout and connected by going into settings then Bluetooth and I think it was third or fourth attempt at connecting it’s finally connected. With her the heart rate was WAY off. On me it was accurate, on her it wasn’t even close. I will try this out a few times more and update this review.***Update. I came back to add a star! After using it a bit more, over a week actually, it has connected without any issues. Not only is it connecting faster but it’s been pretty accurate too. I’m pretty happy with it at this point and if it doesn’t fall apart I would buy it again. My only concern is the buttons on the band. It doesn’t seem like it’s reinforced much so I wonder if the buttons will tear off over time. I’m using it several times throughout the day so if buttons tear I will be back hear with an update. If there is no update it’s safe to assume it’s holding strong with no issues. You have already voted this -
Effective
Able to use it several times, paired it up with the polar beat app. Great app, free as well. Tells you the zone you are in, records everything, gps also. No issues with monitor. Cheap and effective. Primary use is for walking and on backpacking trips. Seems durable, well made, is it waterproof? No idea on that one. I would buy it again. You have already voted this -

Works great, connects via Bluetooth with my Garmin Forerunner 945. Better heart rate tracking especially for things like jumping rope where your wrist moves around too much. You have already voted this -
A Great Cheaper Alternative
This is a good, accurate heart rate monitor that is lower in price than Wahoo or Garmin. I use a Wahoo bike computer and it pairs well with it.You have already voted this -
