Thorougly wionderful functionality
An excellent alternative to Garmin and other pricey computers! Connecting to satellite is quick. Left button to turn on, pause, and resume. Middle button to save. Right button to toggle through three screens for Now, Average, and Max. Very easy to toggle on the handlebar with your thumb.The display is very easy to read. It’s bright enough in the sun and a decent size font. The top half shows speed, the lower half is split with add on extra data on the left and various other data (elevation gain, grade, etc) on the right.Synching and uploading is easy. Save the ride. Load the CycPlus Fit app on your phone. Synch starts automatically. When done, click the three dots and export. (I export to Ride with GPS.)Tech support is prompt and accurate. I had trouble figuring out how to use all the features and activate the cadence function. I got prompt replies to my emails that were very clear and helpful.Cons: The summary data in the app is all in kilometers. Temperature is in Celcius. The data in Ride with GPS is translated into data I can use. The temperature function is way off by 15+ degrees F. I don’t really care about that. My cadence sensor popped off after riding over some rough road. I used it for about 200 miles and got a pretty good idea what I’m doing cadence wise so I don’t think I’ll replace it. It doesn’t have a route mapping function but for my purposes, I don’t really care.Overall, this is a totally decent alternative to the $250-$500 bike computers out there.This unit has everything I would want to have for a very low price.

Has has startup nuances
This unit is relatively user friendly, gets me the info I want when I ride my bike. I’m not sure if it’s 100% accurate, but it’s close enough. Has little nuances, but that’s something one can expect with any tech gadget. The cost was also a consideration as competitors were often twice the cost with basically the same amount of info. I like the large screen and especially love the auto back lighting at dusk. I don’t have to fiddle with it. I liked it so much, I bought a second for my wife, even though she claimed it wasn’t necessary, she now enjoys seeing the info screen.Update, 2/5/23The startup nuances are frustrating. You turn the unit on, press the L lower button again, wait the 30 seconds for the GPS signal to connect and there is no reading when you start biking. You repeat the process or reboot and the same thing can occur, not always. Eventually, it will start reading and provide you with the distance and trip time. I find that frustrating and am going to contact the manufacturer for their input. Beyond that, I remain overall happy with this monitor, but for that reason, I lowered my overall rating to a 4 star.

A flawed and incomplete tool.
Well, it does the essentials. Caveats:- the “now” speed fluctuates because is it instantaneous, so the random inaccuracy inherent in GPS is obvious. A 2- or 3-second average would be stable.- Phone bluetooth connects to the device but not to the app.- “now” gradient is useless and wrong.- “now” GPS altitude is reasonable accurate, and is not instantaneous.- display is not reconfigurable.- temperature is wrong — 6-8 degrees F high. The thermocouple should have airflow so as not to reflect the case temp, and should be accurately calibrated at the factory.- UTC is shown on the clock, and “settings” does not offer time zones.

Achei superior ao IGPSport que tinha por uns 3 anos, mas que recentemente pifou. Como não gosto de repetir o mesmo modelo e marca, resolvi experimentar o CicPlus. Digo que valeu a pena. É muito bom. O destaque é a rapidez como pega o sinal do GPS.
