    Terrible constant problems
Im only giving this 5 stars so people axually swe it Do not waist your time with this computer do not be fooled with its relatively nice specs it’s a Alienware device by heart and has constant problems if you aren’t experienced at fixing said problems

    Very solid gaming laptop
Very nice performance. It’s about what you’d expect from a laptop with these specs. This thing is big, but it’s not as thick as my previous gaming laptops so that’s a nice plus. The fans do crank out and be loud, but that’s to be expected from any gaming laptop. The IPS screen looks very nice, and mine came with very minimal IPS bleed. The speakers are ok, and the mic quality according to my friends sound like an Xbox 360 mic so you may want to invest in a decent headset.

    Endless problems
Have had numerous serious issues with this laptop since I bought it. Every windows update breaks something else in the software. The Alienware command center app is a RAM hog. Playing WoW with discord open and the Alienware system monitor overlay was using 15 GB of RAM. The “Gaming mode” button that turns on turbo performance is also reportedly responsible for frying people’s CPUs. I think mine is a victim of that as well. The PC overheats without the turbo mode on because the fans hardly work in normal performance mode. Mine likes to shut off randomly without warning or errors. I first thought it was overheating but it does it sometimes within minutes of being turned on for the first time in a day.Today, it shut off twice so I pulled the cover to check the battery connection. After unplugging the battery and plugging it back in, the PC would not turn on for about 30 minutes at all. It also now will not turn on unless it’s plugged in, regardless of the battery charge, which remains at 81% and healthy according to the BIOS.Every update of windows or audio drivers changes the settings and defaults of my headphones to something else. There’s are 3 locations of settings to choose which audio hardware you are using, and they all get swapped around. Having to dig through each one to figure out why my mic stops working for example, is annoying. These issues are far beyond my ability and desire to fix. In short, this has been the most problematic PC I’ve ever had the displeasure of using. And at $1700 it’s laughably bad. A “Gaming PC” that overheats at idle while the screen is in sleep mode is just stupid.

    Excellent design and product quality.
Very happy with the new acquisition, it was time to renew the old equipment. The offer was good when I made the purchase and when I received the Dell G15 it came with an additional box for greater protection. When I turned on the device, it did not cause any problems and the configuration process with Windows 11 is quite easy.I have been with the equipment for more than two weeks and it has not presented any problems in its operation, both in programs and in the equipment in general.A detail to take into account is that the G15 5530 model the keyboard lights up in a single color and the seller’s images show an identical device that maintains RGB lights on its keyboard, which better refers to the 16″ version and not to the 15.1″ screen.Otherwise, the overall quality and feel of the equipment feels of very good quality despite being all made of quite resistant plastic. Take into account when transporting the equipment the weight of the laptop plus the charger requires a briefcase with good space.

    Ok computer
Update: i go the replacement and it does NOT have the line on the screen. laptop runs games well at 1080p, which is what i was hoping for. only issue is that the laptop acts weird on battery. i was playing eldin ring and it ran fine for a while, but then just started running at 1-2 fps. alt+tab tooks a while to work and so did the windows button. first time i had to hard shut down. when it happened again i was able to close the game and the desktop ran fine after that. really weird. may have been over heating or something. i was playing it in the car. never got any notifications about the computer over heating though.poor quality control and weirdness on battery. It’ll run things fine on power and if you can get one without the line on the screen. Definitely good for under $1000.  The one i got is defective. It has a line on the screen. Updated bios, drivers, used ddu, booted to external media. Persisted. Sending back and ordered another one. Will update if that replacement is not defective.

solo falto el lector de huellas para ser perfecto, The fingerprint reader was missing to be perfect.
Excelente equipo, por tener un procesador tan potente, a la hora de subir al tope los graficos suele calentar mucho y puede producir problemas, esto es en todo equipo con procesador de este tipo, del resto es una hermosura.Excellent equipment, for having such a powerful processor, when it comes to raising the graphics to the top it usually heats up a lot and can cause problems, this is in any computer with a processor of this type, the rest is a beauty.

    Update is Key!!!
Ok, so this laptop needs updating. If you’re thinking about getting this, my advice to you is UPDATE the drivers!!! Especially the Intel ones. It didn’t run to its potential until I did this. It’s super fast, running at well over 100 FPS on the latest games.

I’ve been using it for months, It’s given me a great deal of performance for the price, running most games at 120 fps comfortably, and hasn’t given me any issues in coding. The screen has great colors, it’s really smooth. Ram can be an issue, but you can always just slap another stick in there. All these points are great except that IT COLLECTS ALOT of dust, and it warms up a lot and you can see the dust that it accumulated in the vents from the outside. Cleaning can be quite tricky but is doable, considering it must be done often it is annoying. The RGB is mediocre at best, as it doesn’t seep through the key caps bright enough, and you don’t have many customization options, and the program by alien ware is ok. About the battery, I’d give it 2 stars if this wasn’t a gaming laptop, nowadays you can find laptops that last 10 hours, this one can last around 5 if you really push it to save battery, which is good enough for my situation in college. Overall for what it is, and to whom it seems to appeal to it’s a decent deal.

The worst laptop I’ve owned. Returning it.• Constant blue screens, especially when playing Battlefield 2042. Random restarts mid-game make it impossible to enjoy.• Cheap, low-quality packaging that didn’t feel protective at all. For the price, I expected better.• Bulky power supply in a form of a brick 1/4th the size of the laptop itself.• Crashes, overheating, and restarts ruin the gaming part, definitely not worth the price.

Upgraded to 24G RAM (had 16+8 on hand) and works well for playing games on STEAM with Discord in the background and using a USB connected control. Can hear the fans kick in but works wells. The charger is quite bulky so I would not recommend this as a commuting laptop.
