AN EXCELLENT CHOICE. ECONOMICAL, QUIET & EFFICIENT.
After careful comparison shopping, I just purchased the DELL Optiplex 7050 to replace an old Dell optiplex 7010 due to a sudden electrical surge caused by an unexpected outage which rendered my old desktop unusable. I also needed to upgrade from a Microsoft windows 10 to the Microsoft 11 Pro. I was originally going to purchase a brand new Dell for $1,600 with all of the bells and whistles, on credit, but decided to go with Amazon Renewed as with my old one, which I’m glad I did. I only use DELL, because in my opinion, it’s the strongest of all desktop computers, in longevity & efficiency – it gets the job done. As with many of us struggling entrepreneurs on a very tight budget, it was the smartest and most economical choice.My new Dell optiplex 7050 with 32 gb RAM, 128 MB Intel graphics & 3.4 processor was a sufficient choice for my small graphics design business, for now. It arrived in 2 days, properly packed, secured and wrapped like a brand new computer. clean, no scratches, stains or dents – like new. Easy installation, quick, fast, QUIET, affordable and efficient. It’s also small, compact and lightweight. It also included a free 5.0 USB Dongle, keyboard and mouse. I only needed the desktop as I already had an adapter, keyboard, speakers, cords, mouse and monitor screen which were compatible with my new Dell Optiplex 7050. The transfer was flawless. I’m going to purchase another one, as well as purchasing an additional one upgrading to a wireless, because the price & specs is just too good to pass up. I will update in about a month.

I was a little shook up from some of these reviews before I ordered, but for what it is, this is a pretty impressive bundle.Bought for my girlfriend to play steam games with and it works perfectly. Has no issues running any game like PEAK, RV There Yet, REPO, or Content warning. Also will play Sims 4 no problem.Graphics card is a LOW PROFILE card and can be replaced with a gtx3050 LP for 200 dollars if you want to try to run games in higher quality.Has a fair enough amount of ram and will work.Memory is 500gb but you could buy a better sata drive and replace it if you’d like. But 500gb is perfect for casual gaming.It shipped FAST and arrived intact, packed very appropriately in box.Comes with everything you need, wifi dongle works great.Keyboard mouse and headset all feel cheap and probably are but they work, they are also WIRED so everyone is aware.Monitor is solid! No issues provides a great picture.RGB everywhere is cool if your into that too.Set up was easy but I certainly know my way around these things, but they do provide some instruction for setup and also provide technical support. Stickers on the back showing you where to plug in your video connection is smart because most people wouldn’t plug their hdmi into the gpu if they didn’t have the stickers on it.Overall I can say confidently this is a great deal, I wouldn’t think twice about buying it again (so I did and am currently waiting on my second one) and will speak highly of STG for providing a budget pc build that won’t break your wallet and still does what you need. If that’s what your looking for.

Not compatible with windows 11!!!
I’d give this a zero star if it was possible. After I received the PC, I went through the automated set up process and found myself looking at a Windows 11 screen. I then went to the Dell site to get any driver updates that were slated for this machine. That’s when the Dell site said this machine does not have the hardware necessary for windows 11. Really?? It’s running 11 right now.So I went to Microsoft and installed the PC check software and asked it to check the PC. Well, guess what? Microsoft says this PC is not compatible with windows 11. Apparently the I7 processor chipset is too old to properly run windows 11.When, in a chat, I brought this information to Amazon customer service, then ran their own research and agreed that the machine is not a windows 11 machine. Amazon offered to pick up the PC and provide a refund, which I accepted. UPS picked up the machine this morning.Moral of the story? The I7 processor in this machine does not support windows 11. Stay away from this machine!!

Great Value
Not a bad upgrade for small investment. This replaced a vintage 2020 Lenovo that was having trouble keeping up with current demands.The PC appears to be new with no scratches, dings or other defects in the case or the hardware. It comes from the reseller very bare bones with an inexpensive keyboard, mouse and Wi-Fi USB.Here are the Pros and Cons of this purchase:Pros- Looks and acts new- Meets all the specifications on the listing- Price was very good for an upgrade to a Quad Core I7 engine- Win 11 preinstalled and the updates took place quickly- FAST response o a question I had- No tariff on a product shipped from Canada- Pleanty of USB, HDMI and other ports- Nice and stableCons:- Took two weeks to arrive (ships from Canada)- WiFi is via a slow USB that I suppose can be upgraded- No CD/DVD drive- Setup required access to the internet- Lots of Microsoft bloatware included- The one I got was originally built in 2023Overall, I’d buy this again.

It is working well. Not too hard to set up. I had a little difficulty attaching my monitor because it has no HDMI ports. It has video ports instead of HDMI ports and I had to buy a new cord for my monitor that would attach it to the video port. The hard drive holds 1TB of data and is very fast.

Quickly shipped and just as described. Withour original packing but securely shipped and in perfect working order. Included a generic keyboard and mouse- both wired. The OS software was fully functional and there was no “bloatware” on the HDD- for me at least an improvement over new.I would buy this again- or take a chance on a nother refurbished computer when the need arises in a couple of years.

2025 0820/UPDATE: It’s been one month since I received this computer, I thought, I should write an update on its performance. It’s supposed to be a Dell Optiplex, 32GB RAM and 1T Hard Disk PC with 3.60GHz i7 7700 processor.Honestly, it doesn’t behave any better than my old desktop, which I couldn’t upgrade to Windows 11. I am also experiencing a lot of issues with Office 365, which I subscribe to annually. I have done some research on the issues, and it appears many are experiencing similar issues with Office 365 on Windows 11. Overall, therefore, ZERO complaints so far about this particular purchase. I chose this PC because the specs matched my old Dell Inspiron (i.e. i7-7700, 3.6GHz). I definitely recommend purchasing used computers from this seller. I will return for another update only if the machine stops working within a year (if it dies on me before August 2026).INITIATE THOUGHTS ON THE PURCHASE:Received it on Thursday, July 17th, 2025 as promised. Packaged was A++. Dell Optiplex i7-7700 with 32GB also came clean and ready to use. Had to go through the usual windows 11 install and Office 365 install. Then, got a list of drivers, approx 12 of them, that needed to be updated, which I did, hassle free.All the specs were accurate, as advertised. I set-up the computer and tested all the ports. VGA port on the computer is male, not female as I expected it. The rest of the ports appear to be working fine. Now, all I have to do is WAIT to see how long the computer lasts me.So far, works great! Am happy with my purchase. If it lasts me 3 years, I will be super happy and will revise (upgrade) my rating. But, for now, shipper gets 5/5 stars. Product gets 3/5 stars (like I said, it is a renewed PC, let’s see how long it lasts because others have complained it stopped working after 1 week and gave a “blue” screen). Fingers crossed all will be well.

Just finished setting up my refurbished Dell 7050 i7. LOVE IT! Fast performance and excellent graphics with a downloaded Intel graphic card update I found on the Intel Internet site. The computer came with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed. After using Windows Update to ver 23H2 and then 24H2, along with the subsequent security updates, which took approx. 2 days to complete, everything works fine now. Very happy with my purchase.
