These foam dressings come in a variety of sizes and work well for wound care on your lower legs. They are easy to apply and stick to your skin without irritating the surrounding area.

Headline incorrect Description ambiguous & misleading Don’t get what you pay for
Product headline says, “Dimora Gauze Pads, Non-Woven 6-Ply Nonstick Medical Gauze Pad, 3 x 3 inches Surgical Cotton Gauze Sponges for Wound Care (100 Packs)” The item pictured is for a different size, so you can’t verify the size by magnifying the image. Then, the product details are misleading and ambiguous. “Individually Wrapped: Sterile cotton guaze pads, convenient to carry and easy to open.5 pcs/pack safe and economic.” So I get the product and there are two problems. First, they’re 2.9 x 2.9 inches, nearly 6% smaller than advertised. It’s not much, but so what? I was paying for 3 x 3 inches. Maybe I needed exactly that size for the wound I was trying to cover. Second, and far worse, there are only FIVE packs in a box, not the 100 claimed. I bought the box assuming it had 100 individually wrapped, sterile gauze pads based on the headline. I’m expecting twenty packs containing FIVE INDIVIDUALLY WRAPPED gauze pads in each based on the details. “Convenient to carry” a pack of five, INDIVIDUALY WRAPPED STERILE guaze pads in a first aid kit or the glove box of your car or your gym bag in case you get a blister while playing basketball in your new shoes, right? WRONG! I got 20 safely sealed packs of of 5 unwrapped guaze pads. Great if you need to pack a wound. Ridiculously wasteful if you need only one sterile covering. You pay for 100 sterile bandages and only get 20. The other four, or 80% are no longer sterile. So basically, I feel as though I’m getting only 14% of what I paid for.

Gentle adhesive a lifesaver for my hip surgery recovery!
These were a lifesaver throughout my recent hip replacement surgery recovery. I had to change my bandage every day for a month, but my skin is quite sensitive to adhesive and the island dressings the doctor had told me to use we’re already making my skin rash-y and even bleeding by day 4. Plus, the incision was 9 inches long so even finding bandage options long enough was challenging. I tried several different types, and these were absolute perfection. Not cheap, but truly saved my skin and kept me from having a lot of extra pain. The adhesive was super gentle on my skin, but also worked well. Pulling it off never hurt. These things are amazing!

Great Bandages for Wound Care!!
Needed a bandage to cover a boo-boo 2 &1/4 inches long from straight stitches resulting from Mohs skin surgery just above my left inside ankle. This item was made for 2 &1/2-inch coverage, so it was just right. The wound needed to have ointment on it for almost 2 weeks, so these dressings were good for the duration except that I found that I needed other larger waterproof bandages for showering purposes. The adhesive on the bandage completely surrounded the affected area and protected the stiches from any other contamination, incidental wet or dry.

Best bandage by far.
Made and packaged very well. My skin is sensitive to adhesives, and these were no problem. And they stay on, even in the shower. Work very well on your back. Not cheap, but well worth the price. Not sure there is a better bandage out there. Also, using any type of ointment, it doesn’t seep thorugh. Everything stays nice and neat, and protected.
