Impressive product at an unbelievable price
For the price, these headphones are legendary. The bass has an impressive punch and depth that makes music and game audio feel truly immersive. From music to gaming, you can hear details that you wouldn’t normally notice on most headphones. I am thoroughly impressed.

Well tuned clean sound
I have no idea how KZ keeps doing this; they keep releasing very good sets for super cheap. I believe there are three versions of this duonic set: the no-switches, neutral silver version and two black sets with switches, but one has more bass. I got the more bass version, and I really like it.The tuning on the bass-plus version seems pretty flat with the switches off, but with the bass boost, the treble is fast, clean, and not harsh or sibilant. Mids are clean and sound full, which is most likely because of the bass boost. Bass is fast and clean; it is boosted but not overdone. I wouldn’t consider it a bass-head set. The bass is tuned as mid over sub-bass, so it doesn’t go that deep, but it is clean. The bass here mostly emphasizes vocals.This set has dual drivers, but one of them is a bit weird. The description says one driver is planar, but the illustration shows it as more of a dynamic driver. I believe it’s some sort of dynamic planar hybrid, which is something Shozy has done in the past. I also don’t know what frequencies the driver is playing, but I’m thinking it’s the treble because it’s very clean and the soundstage is pretty large.Overall, this is a very good set for the price. The mid-bass focus does give it more of a movie or gaming type of sound, which I believe is its purpose. They sound good for music, but the bass doesn’t really go deep, so some songs might sound a bit dry, although very clean.
