    A powerful tool written with warmth and kindness.
    I picked up this book because I really enjoyed Lori Maxwell’s other book on Stress. This book is loaded with very insightful refection and empowerment exercises. I especially enjoy Lori’s warmth, humor and anecdotes. It’s like meeting up with that special friend who you can talk to about everything and knows just what to say.

    I recently read Lori’s book on resilience and found it to be insightful and practical. Lori discusses important topics such as resilience, self-awareness and rebuilding your life offering valuable tools and exercises to help us readers become more resilient in the face of challenges. One aspect of the book that is helpful is the inclusion of a workbook, where readers can jot down their own thoughts and reflections as they progress through the book. I found having a hard copy of the book to be helpful, as it allowed me to keep track of my notes and refer back to them whenever needed.I like that Lori writes about personal anecdotes and stories of well-known figures like Oprah.  Overall, I found the book to be easy to follow and I recommend it to anyone looking to cultivate inner strength and bounce back from life’s challenges.

    The author has a relaxed, easy-going, anecdotal style which makes this self-help book an uncomplicated read; leaving me feeling as if I’d had an important chat.It’s written in such a way, that I can select those chapters and life challenges that apply to my situation(s), recognising myself and certain ‘truths’ along the way.And so having read the book through once, I now look forward to re-reading, and addressing the exercises/challenges along the way.
