Great little borescope camera, easy to learn and use.
Bought it because it had a good number of reviews and would be delivered the same day. A car I was working on had eaten a bolt and after looking for it for 20 minutes with my son, I decided this was an opportunity to get one of these little borescopes. I took 10 minutes of learning and fiddling with the camera to start using it and I was able to find the missing bolt in 10 or so more minutes. It take a bit to learn what is in the camera frame and once you are there, it is not hard to discern what you are seeing on the screen. I was then able to put a good sharp bend close to the camera end and use the camera to align a different bolt and bolt hole the was really tight to the firewall of the van.Like this tool a lot, though it can wash itself out with the brightness of the led lights.

Actually worked well to look up a clogged sewer pipe. Downloadable app operates the camera. Is stiff enough but can also bend around a corner. Stays how you bend it. Very nice. Not disappointed at all.

Worked, but app is buggy
The camera seems to be decent and worked for the project I needed it for. These typically don’t last a long time, so I’m not sure how it will hold up over time, but there are no indicators at this time to suggest it won’t. My only complaint is with the app. It’s kind of buggy and would disconnect at times. It actually seemed to work better on an iPhone 10 than it did on a 12, but that could be coincidence. The picture quality was good enough, and I really wasn’t expecting much else for this price point.The app gets very low ratings in the App Store, so I don’t think I’m the only person to have these issues. There’s also the question of what exactly the app is doing when running, but I think that’s the same across all manufactures for these imported devices. So far, I haven’t had any indications of malware, but I’m also quick to remove these applications as soon as I’m done using the device.From my perspective, these are good for short-term, essentially single-use, and that’s the perspective from which I’ve reviewed this. Who knows if the app will still be available the next time I need it, but again, my experience is that these don’t have longevity, so I’ll probably just but another one when I need it next.

Sturdy build and sharp images!

Does the job, no downsides
Easy to use – just get the Android app, plug in to the USB port, and it works!I used it to see inside the bell housing of a manual transmission/clutch of my old Jeep, and the hardest part was getting used to the direction of the view. With the good light from the tiny ring of LEDs around the camera, I was able to easily take still pictures that showed exactly what was happening in there. I haven’t had the opportunity to use it elsewhere but it served the purpose I needed it to.It’s now an integral part of my tool kit!

This endoscope camera works really well! The 1920P image is sharp, and the adjustable LED lights make dark areas easy to inspect.
