As good or better than the OtterBox Commuter
As good or better than the OtterBox Commuter. I’ve used the Commuter for all my iPhones for more than a decade, but it’s hard to justify the cost with so many equally good options for half the price. Took a chance on this ESR for my 17 Pro Max and am very glad I did. It’s almost identical to the Commuter in design and quality and fits the 17 Pro Max perfectly. Robust 2-part case with all the protection and features and feels exactly the same in hand. Just the right amount of texture where needed for a secure grip. I expect this case to outlive the phone.

Reliable and Better than other expensive brand names
Shipping was fast and case is even better. Protects against fish entering speakers and charger port. Gives other box vibes but more sturdy, the camera access button is protected. Phone has been dropped by my clumsiness but no dents on the phone since it’s reported it happens with IPhone 17s. Good to go, glad to found this brand because I won’t be going back to other brand expensive ones

Great quality & look for the price!
Very easy to put together! Haven’t dropped the phone yet so I’ll update as soon as that happens. I went with green and it looks exactly as advertised. Really good quality feel and I love I can use the charging pad and still protect the port with the built in cover. My protector glass fits over it just fine! The back of the case has a raised lip around the camera lens to protect it too!

Outstanding quality, just a little too slippery
The quality of this case is outstanding and it fits the 17 Pro Max perfectly. I love how it provides coverage for every button with no cut outs at all, especially the dedicated camera button. It even has mesh over the speaker cut outs for added dust protection. It adds a bit of bulk to the size of the phone compared to other slimmer/normal cases. The camera plateau is fully protected and the magsafe magnets are stronger than average.The case I got did not come with the camera stand that folds out of the plateau but I really didn’t want that option anyway.The ONLY downside of this case and the reason I’m giving this 4 stars is because the case is a little too slippery for me, especially on the back of the phone with the smooth plastic. I have found that it easily slides out of my hand/pocket. It does have some grip along the edges and all 4 corners, however I wish there was some texture on the back of the case, and the grip should extend further below the lock & volume buttons. I’m still keeping the case because I love it for all the other reasons, however I did order the clear case from ESR as a slimmer alternative to this one and possibly less slippery as the clear one doesn’t seem to be made from that smooth type of hard plastic.

Very resistant, looks good and protects the phone and the cameras very well, without using any extra protection for the cameras.I also like that it covers the charger entrance protecting it from dust.I really love it.

Great Case, Great Value!
Wonderful case, padded and super strong. The only thing is the top and corner pop off when you put it in your back pocket. Great value, and can use the mag chargers with it. I had a Rokform, great case too, but it would not charge with the mag chargers. Would not get through the case.

I bought this case as a “temporary” option for my daughter’s new iPhone 14 in purple, before I could get her a proper case from my wholesale mobile supplier. I guess I chose right from all the options out there for that device, because she told me she would not want another case to change to either way. She LOVES the look/feel/protection offered by this case, and feels it shows off her phone perfectly by matching the colour of it while being a clear case as well, so she can add her usual stickers on the backside of the phone. It really does look great with her phone, and I’m quite confident it will keep it well-protected, both from the occasional (maybe more occasional than I’d like) corner drop and, with its slightly raised edge along the front, from scratches along the glass from a drop as well. On a further note, she uses an adapter that allows her to both charge her phone and use a wired headset at the same time. She told me on her old case for her iPhone SE, she couldn’t use the adapter without taking the case off the phone (which I did not know). With the new case, the adapter fits perfectly and the case can stay on. Great purchase, happy daughter, happy dad.
