Definitely worth the money $$$$
I tried a cheaper brand, but even though it said in the description that it was for the Chromecast with Google TV, it wasn’t on the box and it didn’t work with my Chromecast so I ordered this one from a company that I know very well and have dealt with in the past I plugged it in and everything works. I would definitely buy another one if needed and I suggest you should skip the cheaper ones and stick with this. You won’t be disappointed.

Stop buffering on streaming videos
It took a couple of tries reseating the USB-C cable to get the Google Chromecast TV to boot.Finally, I am not getting buffering on my streaming videos anymore. Thank you.

I haven’t noticed any buffering, and the picture quality of the stream is very good. I like that it comes with a couple of double sided adhesive mounting pads which makes it easy to mount. decent little box.

Performs as advertised
No surprises here. Works with any device that it looks like it would, not just google tv devices. Power pass through and gigabit ethernet added to anything with a full function type c port. There’s a lot of competition in this segment and all pretty similarly priced, so this one’s as good as any other, you can trust it!

True gigabit speed (limited by Chromecast performance)
At $15-$20, this is a great value and provides true full duplex gigabit Ethernet connection unlike some adapters that only provide 100 megabit and/or half duplex speeds.The device is truly plug and Play with no configuration required unless you have a special scenario where you don’t have DHCP or require a static IP or something. The Chromecast with Google TV power adapter provided more than enough power to both the Chromecast and to power the adapter. There is both a green indication light showing that the ethernet is connected as well as an amber activity light.Chromecast automatically disconnects from Wi-Fi when the ethernet is plugged in so there’s no issue with Wi-Fi or ethernet conflicts and provides the exact functionality advertised. The adopter is solid metal housing and stays relatively cool even under constant streaming. Wallet is a bit thicker than the Chromecast it is smaller and the cord is short and flexible making it easy to mount with the included adhesive or any other way you want to do it.Overall I’m super happy with it and prefer it over Wi-Fi latency or random connection issues.

Fast, cheap, effective
I used this to connect a computer to a NAS. I ran out of network ports so took the opportunity to test this to see if it works.I was able to get speeds of about 160mbps which was about what I would expect from this type of device.I had no data integrity issues on test data transferred. I transferred about 500gb without any transfer errors. I was able to establish static IPs without issue and had no dropped connections at all.For the price if you need a network connection and have an extra usb c connection, this is a really good option.I’d say this device is really good for the money considering the specs. I’d consider this adapter again if I need another port at a later date.

Fast ethernet connection!
Works great. My Zephyrus doesn’t come with an ethernet port, and when I have my laptop connected in my living room to my TV, why not connect to the router hardwired right next to it? Reduce some of the wifi noise/traffic around my router.My laptop that I use this dongle with supports only wifi 6, so there is a noticeable bump speed. I do have gigabit Internet, so this dongle is capable of maxing out my home internet connection; whereas my laptop’s wifi could not.For my needs, this cheap little dongle has worked exactly as I wanted/expected. Very happy with this product.
