The best book to learn
My son is home schooled and this was the perfect fit for me to teach and for him to learn. Love the colors and fonts and the designed in general. A small knowledge test at the end of every chapter.

Clear explanations in an entertaining format that will appeal to kids.
I am a reading and writing tutor, and this is the best book I have ever found to help kids understand how English works. Colorful pages are designed to mimic the notebook of a bright kid, full of highlights and annotations, which makes the text visually interesting and keeps kids engaged. But mostly it is just the clearest explanation I’ve seen of concepts that kids often find confusing. I would buy it for an adult who was struggling with grammar

AMAZING for neurodivergent kids!
We got Everything You Need to Ace English Language Arts in One Big Fat Notebook for our daughters who are neurodivergent, and it has been such a helpful resource. The way the book organizes information makes it really easy to follow and revisit concepts without feeling overwhelmed. The notes, diagrams, and examples break things down in a way that reinforces understanding and makes it stick.Our daughters have been able to work through sections independently while still feeling confident that they are learning the key ideas. We have kept the pages and used them as a reference, which has been great for seeing their progress over time. It has made English Language Arts more approachable and even a little fun for them, and we feel like it has strengthened their grasp on topics that used to feel confusing or intimidating.If you have kids who need concepts broken down clearly and enjoy a visual, organized approach, this book does exactly that. It has become a supportive part of our learning routine and something they actually enjoy using. This is also a great resource for those going into middle school grades in a year or two, the concepts are highly digestible. This way once the kids get to the topics later on, they can recall and feel more confident in tackling the work.

1 star off for quiz answer placement, otherwise exceptional book
These book series are great. I bought math, history and science versions of these books. All of them do a wonderful job of conveying complex subjects in easy to digest chunks.5 stars if the quiz portions are irrelevant to you.- 1 star for quiz answers on the page directly behind the questions for each section or chapterI am using them for homeschooling my child. I wanted to use their questions as quizzes, but my kid can easily flip the page over to find the answer. This is unfortunate as it makes it difficult to determine whether or not my child understood the chapter based on the chapter questions. I would of much preferred all of the answers be in the back of the book, possibly even perforated so I can tear them off if I so wish.Aside from this issue, it’s an excellent book. If this is not a concern for you, consider it a 5 star. I am still going to use them as a supplement to my child’s education, but for our needs and considering the book is geared for high school and middle school students who tend to cut corners, I am knocking off one point. Would love future iterations to put all the answers in the index 🙂

Great book – buy this for your child – great for all middle school grades
Great book. Attractive enough to make you want to pick it up and read it. The graphics are colorful, the font is clear, and the highlights and titles are in bold print. Chapters are color coded. Check Your Knowledge questions and answer page included. Contents list all the units and it’s coverage. What makes this book stand out from all the others is that it includes all the important information broken down in easy to understand text and simple to read maps. It’s all you need to know and that’s it. There are a total of 5 subjects in this series: they include Math, Science, English Language Arts, World History, American History in the series and we have all of them. This is definitely worth the investment. Parents will find this book and series simple to explain to your child and/or read with them. Nothing complicated. Buy this book and the others in the series. I highly recommend it.
