Promising Red Light Device, But Material Transparency Is Missing Online (ABS, Silicone & TPE)
I picked this device up out of interest in red light therapy and how it might complement more traditional gynecological devices that rely on vibration or heat alone. The idea of combining red light, warmth, and vibration into a single unit is appealing, especially given the growing body of research around photobiomodulation and tissue support.In terms of initial use, the vibration modes feel solid and familiar, very much in line with comparable non–red-light gynecological devices I’ve used. The added heat is consistent and soothing rather than intense, which makes it comfortable to use. As with most red light therapy products, I haven’t used it long enough to confirm longer-term claims like collagen support or muscle tightening. Those types of benefits typically require extended, consistent use over months, so for now, I see potential based on the science rather than definitive results.Where this product fell short initially was transparency. The online product description does not disclose the materials used, which is a critical detail for any internal device. That omission was disappointing and unnecessary. The printed materials do list the construction as ABS, silicone, and TPE, which eased my concerns once confirmed. Silicone and TPE are commonly used and generally accepted for intimate devices, so this ends up being more of a marketing oversight than a product flaw, but it’s still something the manufacturer should correct.At this point, the device performs well, feels thoughtfully designed, and uses acceptable materials once verified. The concept itself is promising, and I plan to continue using it to evaluate whether the red light benefits become more noticeable with extended, consistent use. Improving the product page transparency would go a long way toward building consumer confidence.

Disappointing product
I was so excited for this product because, as a post-menopausal woman, I have the very common (and painful) symptom of vaginal atrophy. If you’re not aware, this is not the same as dryness and it affects not just the vagina but the bladder too. I love red light therapy devices and I think using red light super locally for this issue is a terrific idea.So imagine my disappointment when open it up to discover the focus of the product is vibration and heating. I already own vibrators (which, by the way, are used on the clitoris and not deep in the vagina where they’re just annoying). There are 8 different “massage” modes but the light is either on or off. The heat could be helpful but it is not adjustable (you turn it on or off with the light) and it’s very very faint. Even leaving the device on for a good 10 minutes, I could barely feel any warmth.So what about the light? The box says “red light technology” and that’s all it says. Neither the box nor the manual says anything about the wavelengths or the strength of the red light. The Amazon listing says it has “infrared care mode” and instructs users to push the light button to turn it on, so it’s not separate from the regular red light.”Red light” can mean the actual red light (630–660 nm) or it can mean that plus near infrared light (810-850nm). This device does not say which it has (if any). Red light looks like red light but the NIR light is invisible to the human eye. This means it will look like the diodes are off. For this device, all the diodes are red. I don’t know if this means it’s only red light or if the infrared is coming out of the same diodes (unlikely but not impossible).The design of the product is reasonable enough. The silicon is soft and flexible and curved in a way to match the curve of the vagina, so it is easy to insert. The buttons are not distinguishable from each other by touch so you run the risk of turning on the vibration by accident. There is no way to turn the vibration off, even if you cycle through all 8 modes. You have to find and hold the on/off button for several seconds and turn everything off.The product has good heft and seems durable. It is easy to wash and keep sanitary. The plug is an unusual one (the power end is USB-A but the product end is magnetic) but a really good choice because it will stay clean and not get damaged during washing.Is it worth the money? That depends on the wavelengths and strength of the red light. If it’s both types and strong enough, it should help relieve some of the pain of vaginal atrophy and other condition. Otherwise, it’s hard to know.
