What sets the Gamesir G7 SE apart is that it does pretty much everything well.Here is a list of features that I feel set this controller apart from other contenders:1. It has smooth hall effect sticks and a nice D-Pad that isn’t too stiff or clicky2. The buttons are comfortable to press and responsive3. It comes with a color-matched, 9.8-foot braided USB cable. The cable also has an attached Velcro strip for wrapping up the cable, which is a classy, thoughtful touch.4. The buttons on the back can be locked to prevent accidental inputs.5. It also has swappable faceplates that you can buy separately if you can find them for sale. I bought a red face plate to put on my white G7 SE, and it looks great.6. It works flawlessly on Series X and PC with no issues.Most importantly, it excels at its most important mission, gaming. I’m picky when it comes to controllers and I can’t find anything to criticize. This time, I purchased the orange version, which looks fantastic. I’ve tried many 3rd party controllers, and usually there are one or two things about them that irk me. In contrast, the Gamesir gets all the little details right. Happy gaming!

Great alternative controller if wired not an issue
Comfy in the hand and no issues with Xbox connection. Can even turn on the xbox unlike some other compatible controllers. The added back buttons and easy mapping with the software are an extra plus. All games tried were responsive and the hall effect joysticks/triggers add an extra level of stick drift avoidance. Also magnetic face plates ! Wow – extra level of customization if wanted.

Still using this after a year of use. No joystick drift and works well. Love the paddles on the back, and performance wise they are great. Only gripe is that there is an outdated software needed for these. Apparently the newer versions use a completely different updated software

Had 2 of These Fail within 30 days!
Update 2: The replacement controller is even worst than the first & will not work AT ALL after 5 weeks!! The $20 controllers are far superior even if they start to drift after 6 months!!Update: I returned the first one & got a replacement. The replacement controller after 4 weeks is losing “connection” with the console every few minutes!! This is the second controller to fail within a month & the return window just closed. Do NOT buy this terrible waste of money!!!Original Review:We were so excited to find a controller that wouldn’t drift. This controller is lightweight & responsive, for a few weeks. My early opinion was that the Option button, the small button on the upper left, is directly above the thumbstick, making it very difficult to reach. And then, one of the games we play has fishing & the controller is supposed to vibrate when a fish is caught. There was a small vibration when the fish would bite, but none when it was caught, making it very hard to complete fishing aspects of the game. We are using this controller on an XBox Series X, plugged into the console. I downloaded the app for it & set the vibration all the way up & that worked. However, now the vibration on other games is excessive. We have had this controller for 3 weeks & today it started losing connection. It’s wired & plugs in via USB. For a wired controller, not connecting is a pretty bad product defection. I opened the app & it says the firmware is current. It just stops working randomly & the console doesn’t recognize it. I plugged it into the other USB slots & still doesn’t work. It might work for a second, then the player character goes running in 1 direction & nothing else. At least the $20 controllers are worth their cost. This was over $50 & a lot of regret! *Update: When I went to file a return for this controller, I saw some suggested things to try, like “use another cable”. None of the restart, unplug, reconnect, app stuff worked, in fact, it got worse. Also, I don’t have any C-cables that have an end that fits into the back of the controller, & I just spent $50! I’d like the lavender controller to have the lavender cable that it’s supposed to work with, not some random 3rd party cable. This controller became unusable entirely while trying to get it to work. Thank goodness I didn’t toss the controller this one replaced. The “bad” controller at least functions.

Gamesir G7 SE is the one of the best Gamepad that you can get with Hall effect joysticks and triggers and 1000hz pulling rate . This controller is super snapy and responsive .It’s feels just like the official Xbox controller and sometimes even better due to those amazing accurate triggers.I went with the blue colour since white can attract dirt over time .Totally satisfied with my decision with G7 SE over xbox controller and windows fully support all features of this controller in all games .Also it supports software tweaking from Gamesir which you can download and tweak the buttons like mapping , response etcPlayed Forza & Motorfest with this super responsive to drive cars and perform Drifts
