Ridiculously good value and quality for $20!
This ps1 colored ps4 looking controller is easily among the best value of gamepads you can get yourself for playing games on PC/Switch or whatever else it can support. Its latency is among the best of all the controllers I have (probably as good if not better than 8bitdo Ultimate 2!), which surprises me on Nintendo Switch 2 as it seems better(?) than official controllers! Its rubber membrane dpad is quite good, and I like it better than an actual DualShock4’s, and it is one of my best choices for dpad games on the switch/PC or precision 2d platformers. I really like the l1 and r1 bumpers and rubber membrane buttons feel just right for me. L2 and R2 don’t have all that much travel, but that’s a non-issue for me as I more prefer something closer to dualshock1 or 2 for my games (with those being buttons and not triggers). Sticks work fine and seem pretty smooth, but I don’t usually use the sticks on symmetrical controllers. To use this on Switch, press and Hold Home and Y (Top face button) for about 2 seconds then the ‘m’ button will flash red and should pair. You can also do a x to y and a to b swap by holding ‘m’ and A (bottom face button) if you don’t want to be using ps4/xbox layout on the switch. To Use on PC, press and hold Home and X (left face button) and the ‘m’ button starts flashing green.Do I have any minor gripes with this? I guess? It may be just how I hold the PS4 styled controllers, but I tend to have my fingers push up on the l2 and r2 triggers, with them caught beneath the trigger’s grooves. I can hear it creak a little if I were to do that, or also use the dpad, especially up-left. Anyone not used to DualShock4 could mistake the middle Capture and Home buttons for Select and Start like it was a DualShock PS1 controller. Then again, this is all minor, especially thinking about that I have had this for about a month or two and I’m starting to break it in. Also, consider what $20 for a controller way back in 2004 would’ve got you, with Mad Catz and other poor quality 3rd party options. I sure would’ve wished I had this back then!If you’ve been looking for a no-nonsense, understated controller with a ps4 style layout for PC/Switch while not spending too much, this is it. This is what you’ve been looking for.Now if gamesir could make a telescopic mobile controller styled like this one, I wouldn’t hesitate to save up and get that for sure!

My Favorite Controller of All Time!!
I don’t usually write reviews but I have been on the hunt for about 11 months now for an affordable pair of controllers to use as my daily drivers and this right here knocked all my expectations for a good controller out of the park.I needed a controller with a good d-pad for fighting and retro games, but I also needed a controller that excelled with modern games as well. This so far has been the first controller of many that I have purchased this year that made me feel like I found my perfect one. The whole controller feels so premium, the aesthetic is clean, the buttons feel great to push, the joysticks and triggers are buttery, and like I said the d-pad needed to be usable for high level fighting game play and this fits that criteria about as good as I could hope for.Price to value ratio on these bad boys is perfect. It is very nice that this controller is plug and play. No struggle messing around with anything. All games I have played on and off steam, even more obscure independent applications, detect this controller without issues or troubleshooting.I’m hoping gamesir makes a v2 of this. My only critique is that the buttons on the gray controller could have been colored instead of dark gray. You can’t really see the letters. But that’s my only nit pick of an otherwise perfect controller

Quality controller with great quality of life functions
I purchased this after listening to a podcast (The Besties), and I’m impressed! I was making the move from a Wired Xbox 360 controller that I was using for my PC gaming. I think I was going through a controller a year before they started breaking down on me with malfunctioning buttons and drift. Here I am now with my GameSir controller and I absolutely love how it feels. I’ll have to agree with other reviewers with the joysticks feeling like a tad bit longer of a reach, but it’s not a dealbreaker for me.What impressed me is the weight, and the functions! Scan the QR code for a wide array of function for the controller.I personally love how you can turn turbo on/off very quickly with a combo press of buttons. I like the back buttons (R4/L4) as well. They feel very natural and easy to access while the grip of the controller. I suppose the downside is that they can only be reprogrammed to an existing button. (Check the manual again!) But that works for my gaming, as I treat it more like a panic button if I need to dash. All in all, I’m a fan of it and it’s made my PC gaming a lot more fun. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for an affordable and quality controller!

Seriously? Probably one of the best gaming controllers I ever had. Feels sturdy, precise and ergonomic.Only drawbacks for me: I prefer asymetric sticks, and wireless controllers. But this one is cheap and feels like high quality. Highly recommend.

I bought this controller mostly for emulator gaming and also to enjoy PlayStation exclusives. It feels very similar to a PS4 DualShock controller in terms of comfort and layout. The face buttons are membrane, but they don’t feel cheap at all — they’re very responsive and have a nice click. The triggers are pressure-sensitive and feel smooth and accurate. The analog sticks are hall effect, which makes them super smooth and precise, no drift issues at all. The best part is the 1000Hz polling rate — I tested it myself and it really works. The response time stays mostly under 3ms, just like the brand claims.Overall, this controller feels premium, performs great, and is perfect for emulator gaming or enjoying PlayStation-style games.
