I’ve been wanting a headset for my Xbox X since I got it. I came across this set and took a chance because certain games are simply better played with a headset (i.e., Destiny 2, Titanfall 2, Call of Duty, etc.). I wasn’t sure what to expect since they weren’t brand name but wanted to see if I used them often enough to justify buying a more expensive pair later. Out of the package they seem decently made with decent materials. Their design isn’t great as I tend to go for a more subtle and sleek look, but I was more interested in function more than anything else at this point. I was surprised at how great the audio came through, and can hear every little sound and effect with incredible clear detail. These are also pretty comfortable to wear on my petite-ish head, as well as my toddler who loves to wear these when it’s her turn on the console. I love that the sound still comes through on the TV while these are connected so that everyone in the room can hear me play (as I can always switch to my Bluetooth headphones when I need to play quietly). We don’t use the mic feature, though I do like that it folds unobtrusively on the left side and is there in case we should ever need it. Connects easily to our Xbox One controllers by just plugging it in and playing, with plenty of cord length (not that you have five foot long arms or anything, but I guess it’s useful if you need to step away from your controller for a moment?). Overall an excellent buy for the price point for me and family’s needs.

Great for a Beginner
You can’t get much better at this price point. It’s a pretty standard headset overall. After seeing some of the negative reviews I decided to test them before giving them to my son for Christmas. They seem to be just fine, and everything is as expected.The Great:1. The actual sound coming from the headphones is really great. I turned on the Windows Sonic for Headphones and it was very immersive. The padding on the cups is nice and thick and provides decent noise isolation, too.2. These are really comfortable to wear. I had them on for about an hour and a half before I experienced any fatigue.3. Cable is of ample length for using comfortably at a desk or on the laptop. My son will likely use these playing on his laptop.The Good:1. These are pretty stylish. Kids love these LEDs, and this doesn’t disappoint.2. Even though they’re 100% plastic, they feel pretty sturdy. Kids aren’t likely to break these without trying. Haha3. In-Line Control does the job. It’s got on/off and volume control.The “OK”:1. The Mic is just “ok.” It gets the job done, but it is not appropriate for doing gameplay recording. Will be just fine to converse with teammates on games, though. This’ll be just fine for my son who is really getting into yelling at his friends on Fortnight.

Great headset for the price. Good sound, lights up, sits well, doesn’t hurt.

So I bought these for my son as he hd bust his previous pair and having seen the reviews I was a little skeptical but they have turned out great. I have plugged them into a CD player as well as my sons PS4 and the sound quality is good and great for the price.The mic if apparently good (they can hear him loud and clear apparently) and he likes the design.Comfort wise I would say is fine but long wear there is a little bit of pressure but we are talking hours here.Otherwise, surpasses what was said on the tin and very compatible with the devices in the house.A win.
