Great, solid device.
This is a great device. I’ve had it about a month now, and I have been very happy with it. It is very comfortable to hold, and although you have to charge it separately from the Switch, it holds a charge for a long time, and I’ve had no trouble connecting it to the console. It’s worked flawlessly. I will also say that while the buttons on the back of it are a bit of a pain to program, and could have been easier, I will say that they might just be the best designed back buttons I’ve ever seen on a controller. Usually with back buttons, at least the ones I’ve encountered, I’ve always had to slightly reposition my hands to press them, but with this one they are in the perfect spot. They sit directly on my middle finger while holding it, and pressing them effortless. Which is nice, because I normally don’t use back buttons because like I said, usually for me they are more of a hassle to press. I also like the fact that it has two locking tabs thathold the console in place while it is in the controller so it is impossible to take out until you want to take it out. All said, for the price I am very happy with it, and would highly recommend it to anyone who finds the normal handheld mode of the switch uncomfortable to play with for long periods of time.

My daughters right original switch controller started doing that fun little thing where it starts moving by itself and the only way to stop it is to turn it off, put it down and cry about the fact that you bought this thing brand new and it stopped functioning after 3 weeks.Anywho there’s many way to replace it, you can pay more than what this awesome controller costs to get a single right controller, you can buy a set for $80, you can buy and build one from the inside out or you can jump in after reading an overwhelming amount of reviews about all the different brands and styles here on Amazon and just buy one. So I did.My kids are rough with everything they own from their shoes to their to their pillows. Literally everything. We go through so many screen protectors now. Probably single handedly keeping some brands in business! As they are both diagnosed with ADHD and I’m on the spectrum we like things that are a bit more durable. This absolutely fits the bill! I love that it locks the console in place, there’s no fear of it falling out or getting loose. I love the size of the handles. At first I thought they’d be too big but after watching my daughter play they’re just honestly such a better fit than the much smaller original controllers. She can keep a grip on them, I don’t worry as much about them slipping out of her hands. I love the light features, you can change the colors, you can have rainbow, you can even adjust the brightness! And for I think it was $5 more you can get the other one with different designs. There’s like a lightning one, a spider web one, one that reminds me of rupunzels golden flower drawing, and a couple more. All of which you can also choose the strength of vibration too which is awesome. Some kids don’t like that sensation and we can turn it completely off. It comes with dual ended c chargers with a usb plug in, so you can plug in both the controller and the switch at the same time( into the car or car phone charger which has been a life saver on road trips where I’d like to take less cords if at all possible).I would buy again (I just did actually, because there’s a second switch in this house and “it’s just not as cool as sisters is. Without the lights”)If something negative happens I will update this but as for now we thoroughly enjoy them. They feel extremely similar to an Xbox controller for those of us that were curious. You can’t keep on any case or skin, that I’ve tried but I’m sure there might be some paper thin ones out there somewhere. Idk but I think this is a great controller. It does all the things and all our personal boxes of what we needed in a controller. Not for someone who likes to take them off and use them independently. Highly recommend
I got this for my Switch 1 and was waiting patiently for a Switch 2 version. Suffice to say, it’s a great device and the pros outweigh the minor cons. It connects well, can customize the lights behind the joysticks, comfortable and ergonomic, good battery, sturdy, has 4 pockets on the back for physical games and holds them firmly, etc.Cons are extremely minor- the connect light only turns off when disconnected, can be slightly distracting- Switch 2 version is only available in the base gray/black color- expected, but can’t slide into the port with the Switch 1 or 2This is the best handheld controller I’ve found for the Switch 1 & 2. It’s sturdy and comfortable, not much else to say.

Decent controller
Its a good third party controller. Does what it needs to do. It feels well built, and I like using it for mobile gaming more than the joycons.Experience is very similar to how using a MadCatz controller used to be. Worth the price.Con: the charging cable does not work to charge the switch, for some reason the USBC just doesn’t fit in the switches port. So, be sure to bring your own charger.

Best option I’ve tried for the price!
If you’re on the fence about buying it, BUY IT! I usually never write reviews but at this price point and this quality you can’t go wrong. Your switch slides in with ease while being able to be locked in so securely that you can hold it upside down and the switch won’t budge. You can also dock your switch and use it as a controller like how a pro controller would work. Latency is not a problem at all and is very fast and the battery lasts a few days which is perfect for me!

Gifted it to my husband it works perfect!It’s good for anyone with bigger hands so if the regular Switch consoles are too small for you. You can also control settings on an app on your phone or there are buttons built into the device for you to customize. Such as light color changing!

I bought two of these controllers, they work great! We have been finding my son’s isn’t holding a charge only 3 months in so he has taken over mine as I haven’t used it as much.We have found it works great for hand held mode, there isn’t any delay or drifting in the controller. The septic feedback works great, though you can also hear it as well.You can lock the switch in to keep it secure, just ensure the lock is fully disengaged when removing the switch. We thought it was disengaged only to discover it wasn’t fully relaleased and broke the top corner of the switch where the controller and joy cons slide on. Everything still works great on that switch.Another down side is the size doesn’t allow for easy travel if not road tripping it or at home for hand held mode as it’s hard to find a case to fit to keep it protected.Because this connects as a wireless controler you can also use it like a procontroller if using your switch with a dock.
