Great fitness tracker without being a distraction to your life
This is primarily a fitness tracker. It’s not your fancy smart watch that can almost replace your phone! That being said – it is a great fitness tracker, but a bit expensive for not having the fancy UI (which – the grayscale face is what I like about it). Also, since I’m moderately active (not an athlete by any means but I do work out every single day)I bought this watch as a replacement for my 7 year old vivosmart HR. I chose this precisely because I didn’t want all the bells and whistles of fancy smartwatches that just serve as another distraction in everyday life.Pros- doesn’t have a square face. Looks like a normal watch! It’s also not bulky, although it does say it’s bulkier than the Lily 2 Classic (which I worried about but it’s really not much of a difference)- connects with your phone via the Garmin Connect app, which you can sync with Strava, Be Well (formerly Walker Tracker), My Fitness Pal (two way syncing – it takes your weight and calories from MFP)- SEAMLESSLY synced with my existing Garmin app- it has GPS!!- stress and body battery tracking are actually quite useful.- includes breathwork exercises! And reminders to move throughout the day – and on top of that, also gives you example exercises and prompts like sitting exercises. I’m amazed that everytime it’s a different chair activity / stretch exercise (my old watch just used to say “Move!”). Any watch prompts also come with a vibration so that you don’t have to look down at your watch while doing breathwork or running or whatever activity you are trying to track.- you can split your Dance exercise into songs- the Garmin Connect app is really neat. (not so many users like Strava but it is great for your personal analytics) you can also customize what notifications go to your watch so that it not just buzzing constantly all day-there are also other features like blood pressure, weight etc that you can manually add to the app and track-it syncs with your calendar-the watch widgets (what you display on your watch face) and the watch face itself are customizable.-gives you a lot if tips and analysis about your day. Also gives a lot of encouragement during your workouts!-the GPS does drain the battery much faster, but even with that, the battery life still lasts over 5 days even when it didn’t charge fully- it’s really CUTE!Cons- wish it came in black too- if you were used to lower tech fitness tracker / smartwatch this one takes a bit of learning to learn all the motions (two buttons, a middle touch button, and swiping in four directions) and the features that correspond to them- the “manual” that comes with it is useless lol. Just tells you to go online (which – Garmin stuff online are useful)- software updates can take longer (couple minutes or so)- I haven’t figured out how I can add the music controls to the UI for when it’s recording a run- the recording of activities are sometimes needlessly specific, but kinda cool for your own recording I guess. For example, I just wanted to record Dance but I can also choose what type of dance it is (zumba, pop, afro beat, video game etc)- the very first time I wore it during a workout and I sweated, it gave me a bit of irritation but I’d attribute that to it’s “newness” / VOCs just emanating from the straps since it’s new and just came out of the box- proprietary charging cable (still USB C on the other side though)- the vibration is so light compared to the old vivosmart. All my important phone notifications go through my watch (since my phone is always silent) but even at max vibration it’s easy to miss it.-compared to my last watch, this took longer to “wake up” when I look at it. Maybe takes half a second-Garmin recommends to wear it two finger widths below your wrist but I personally find that too low for watch-wearingOverall 5 stars for me – and like what others said, if you know exactly what you got it for, you will be happy about it. Otherwise if you are looking for fancy schmancy smart watch not for its fitness tracking but for its digital, hi tech features – this watch might not be the right one for you.

Excellent upgrade from an Apple Watch.
My daughter asked for this watch for her birthday to replace her two year old Apple Watch. She wanted something that was less intrusive with notifications, had fantastic health and fitness tracking, worked well with the Strava running app, and had better battery life. This device checked all those boxes and is beautiful as well. The only issue isn’t any fault of the Garmin watch, but that it is too good and now my wife and oldest daughter want to replace their Apple Watches with Garmin options too. 🙂

Lightweight and beautiful
Very lightweight compared to other Garmin models. Easy to set up and use.Perfect if you’re looking for a simple yet functional watch. I just hope it lasts longer than other models.

Like the narrow band and color
I am a garmin sport watch fan. So I am comparing from Venu 2, which is the watch I am replacing. The battery life is much longer, but is that because it has a black and white face? I can’t connect to an external face that I often use as a result . Not too happy with that aspect. Why is it so hard to connect to wahoo cadence gadget? I had to hunt around for the ability to connect rather than seeing the option within the ‘indoor bike’ activity face?? Is there a user testing department?I am still trying to find how to get other notifications that I had on my other garmin watches.Ease of moving around the watch and no color on watch face are the reasons why I took one star off.Otherwise, I appreciate the narrower band and pretty spring purple color.

High quality fitness watch, only need to charge weekly
This is a great watch for casual fitness and health recording. Since its much more simple than Apple Watches, I only have to charge it once a week, which is super nice. It takes some time to learn how to use it, but it does a hood job. The only downsides are how long it takes to start an outdoor walk while it connects to GPS, and the sleep measurements. I found my Fitbit to work more accurately with how often I woke up and how long it took me to get back to sleep. Water durability is great, perfect for swimming. You do need to wash the band on a regular basis, but that’s common for rubber watch bands. I do wish they sold more color options.

Great small watch
This was to replace my Garmin Venue Square. I wanted something a little smaller. Has the right amount of bells and whistles for this 65 year old. If you want to customize your watch faces with pictures, this is not the watch for you. There are limited watch faces you can use. The charge time is super fast and easy. The screen glass has held up to daily wear and tear without cracking or scratching (I’m not easy on watches!). If you’re a runner, not the watch for you, but if you want to track steps, stress, body battery, VO2 max, pulse and other workout items, etc then this should work. Make sure you read what this watch can and cannot do – it is very helpful. I really like the purple band – it stays latched. Just be careful whe. You unmatched it as the band has the quick release feature and it unhooks pretty fast and smoothly!

Great and elegant Garmin watch
Great watch. Elegant. The Garmin app and the sync work perfect with android.

Not as good as the Fenix
It is definitely not the running watch, golfing watch combo that I had hoped. Intended to show the time when you raise your arm to look, that never works. You have to tap it to see the time, and sometimes it takes several specific taps. Golf scoring is rough and if you choose not to keep score, it gives you no credit for the activity. The interface with Garmin Connect is also incomplete. If I had known, I would have stuck with the Fenix and put up with the big size. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Good as the Fenix

Grosseur parfaite!

Really happy with this purchase. Present for my sister, who is very happy with it. Does everything she needs and has already helped her to work at a healthier lifestyle and lose weight. Looks good, is light and easy to navigate. Battery life is reasonable too.

Montre idéale pour les femmes dont les petits poignets ne peuvent accueillir la majorité des montres connectées dignes de ce nom (pour un poignet de 14.5 cm). Toutes les fonctionnalités de suivi des activités et de santé, écran très sobre, affichage lisible même en plein soleil, très bonne autonomie (1 semaine) pour une montre utilisée pour des activités extérieures quotidiennes d’environ 3 h avec GPS. Le mode sommeil empêche l’éclairage intempestif du cadran. La synchronisation avec l’application sur le téléphone est instantanée et sans action spécifique pour ce faire. Les menus sont faciles d’accès, les statistiques intéressantes, et la précision est très correcte (comparaison avec une montre Huawei). Les notifications, que ce soit du téléphone ou des applications, sont parfaites. Excellente synchronisation avec la balance connectée Garmin S2;

Bello esteticamente, la batteria ha una buona durata, peccato non siano previste piu tipologie di attività: manca, ad esempio, il nuoto in mare, o almeno io non lo riesco a inserire.
