Excellent for health tracking, accurate sleep data, and great battery life
I’ve been using the Garmin Venu 4 daily for several weeks, and it’s easily one of the best smartwatches I’ve owned. The setup was simple and intuitive, and the interface is responsive and easy to navigate.I use it primarily for health and performance tracking, especially sleep data, heart rate, and recovery insights. The sleep tracking has been spot on, even distinguishing between REM, light, and deep sleep accurately. It’s helped me identify how my CPAP use and workouts affect my rest and overall energy. The Body Battery feature is surprisingly useful and aligns closely with how I actually feel day to day.The watch feels premium and fits comfortably on the wrist. I appreciate the slightly larger screen and clean layout of the data fields during workouts. Battery life is excellent; I typically get five to six days per charge with continuous tracking, notifications, and GPS use.Connectivity with my phone is solid, and syncing to Garmin Connect is quick and reliable. I also love that it pairs seamlessly with my fitness and nutrition tracking setup.Overall, the Garmin Venu 4 strikes a great balance between functionality, comfort, and battery life. If you care about accurate sleep analysis, reliable health data, and overall ease of use, it’s a fantastic choice. Highly recommended.I upgraded from a Venu 2, but a new user will find the experience enjoyable. I would highly recommend a screen protector, or hard shell case. This model relies significantly more on the touchscreen functionality instead of physical buttons, so a deep scratch could render your investment moot. Don’t skimp on this! I spent 15 bucks on a screen protector and its already paid for itself twice in two weeks of ownership, and I am very careful.

Massive Upgrade
Having previously owned the Venu 2, this is a massive step up. The activity tracking is much easier to use, the built-in flashlight is indispensable, and the amount of health data available is both staggering and wonderful. The training load is a much easier and more accurate way to tell when I should be working out vs resting, a huge step up from body battery alone. The GPS also (anecdotally) seems quicker to connect. I live the week and a half battery life, something you can’t get on competitors like Samsung or Apple. It is well worth the money spent.

Trend >> to >> Venu 4
I upgraded from the Garmin Vivo Trend to the new Garmin Venu 4 (45 mm, Grey Stainless Steel) and I couldn’t be happier. After wearing it for 3 days, I’m impressed with how premium it feels — the stainless steel case gives it a true watch look, while still being lightweight and comfortable. The larger display is crisp and easy to read, and the 22 mm band width feels substantial, much closer to my traditional Citizen watch than the slimmer straps on smaller models. Setup was simple, syncing with my iPhone was seamless, and notifications and health tracking features work flawlessly. Just turned on the ECG app and it worked the first try. This watch strikes the perfect balance between style and functionality. It’s durable (I hope), customizable with different bands (already have a dusty rose band on now), and looks great with everything. I don’t feel it’s too sporty due to the fully stainless steel face and bezel.Highly recommend for anyone upgrading from the Trend! Which was elegant and simple. It’s nice not to have to “align the hour and minute arms” every single day.I don’t use or need all of the MANY activity options, but I am very impressed that they are there.I found a perfect analog watch face that works for me in the Connect IQ store and I am so happy.

Amazing Fitness Watch
After more than 8 years with some version of a Fitbit Sense watch, I finally decided that Google was serious about killing the more serious Fitbit Smartwatches. I would have considered the Google Pixel, but it only works with Android phones, and I had just gotten the new iPhone. That left Garmin or the Apple Watch, and I chose the Garmin Venu 4 because I care more about the health and fitness aspects than all the more social/apps focused bells and whistles of the Apple Watch. I am thrilled with my Venu 4. Quite simply the best health and fitness watch out there. While I bought it for its health and fitness functionality, its other functions surprised me. It plays music as well as an Apple Watch, Pays as well as an Apple Watch, allows you to talk through it on your phone as well as an apple watch, and I never realized how much I needed a little high-powered flashlight on my watch until I had one. Twelve days of battery life also cannot be beat. It does not have the number of apps you would get with Apple. It is also amazingly comfortable, durable (I have banged the watch face against the corner of a table in my house almost weekly without any dents or breaking), and fits very well on my wrist. I have had it for about two months now and could not be happier.

A great smart watch
The watch is incredible. Light enough to sleep comfortably all night, powerful enough to track all my different work outs. The incredible screen is vibrant, responsive and fast. The updates to the OS make the watch feel smooth and each time new feature are added. The fit is great. I wish it came in a 47mm but the 45″ is great for me. It’s durable and the fantastic battery last for over 10 days.

Amazing Watch!
I have only owned Garmin watches. This replaced a Venu Square 2 as it died after wearing less than 3 years. It is worth the money. I love the leather band as it dresses up the watch. There are some great features that my previous watch didn’t have such as a flashlight, talking to you at mile splits when on a run, voice commands and many more. I am still learning about all of its features. I just hope it lasts longer than 3 years.

I previously had the Venu 2 and this is a very evident upgrade. The additional features and battery life a fantastic! It’s a fairly expensive watch and I wish they’d incorporate more metrics for disabled users. It was simple to connect to my other devices and WiFi and the screen is clear. Photos installed using the app are significantly better than on my previous Venu. It feels well made.
