Hall Effect Joysticks
If you’ve owned a Nintendo Switch, you know the frustration of permanent Joy-con stick drift – unwanted character movements or a spinning camera. PocketPro solves this with advanced Hall-Effect sensor analog sticks, eliminating stick drift entirely and ensuring precise control without the wear and tear of traditional potentiometers.

Pack Friendly
Whether you’re traveling or just heading over to a friend’s place, you can comfortably pack four PocketPros into your Saya Carry, ensuring you’re always ready for a spontaneous gaming session. PocketPros are slim (under 30mm with analog sticks!) and ultra-portable, making them perfect for on-the-go gaming.

Packed with Features
The PocketPro combines a nostalgic design with modern features. It boasts a responsive d-pad, clicky buttons with optimal travel, and full-sized analog sticks that offer precise control. Equipped with motion control gyros, it enhances gameplay in titles like Mario Kart and Tears of the Kingdom, while haptic feedback provides immersive rumble effects. The controller also includes a turbo mode for easier play during mini-games.

Good controller; analog sticks are a little uncomfortable to use.
I’m not personally used to where the analog sticks are on the controller (I’m not a PS player), so I find them uncomfortable to use overall, but the controller itself is well made. It’s sleek, slim, and portable making it easy to slot into space on a desk. I’ve had absolutely no issues with connectivity through bluetooth either, meaning I can just pick it up off the desk, turn it on, and game. I wouldn’t recommend the controller for heavy modern games unless you like the placement of the analog sticks over the Xbox placement, but I would recommend the controller for retro gaming or indie titles.

Best aftermarket controller Brand
I’ve been using this for a few weeks as I usually get through the “honeymoon” phase before I write a review on something, especially a tech product. I honestly feel this isn’t exclusive to just retro gamers, anyone who needs a Bluetooth controller can benefit from purchasing one of these. I don’t want to give them any bright ideas but this honestly feels like they could charge a lot more for this controller given it’s compatibility and build construction, I’ve had 0 issues so far. After buying cheaper controllers from other sketchy manufacturers I can confidently say 8Bitdo offers some quality hardware for the price point.

Finally! CLEAR SHELL!!!
One of 8bitDo’s best designs to-date, with Hall Effects sticks, combined with the colorless clear shell that so many of us have wanted for years; what’s not to love about this controller? The button colors did/do kind of confuse me, as my mind kept subconsciously trying to affiliate them with some pattern from a known 1st party controller. But, as far as I know, they simply don’t match a known pattern; none that I’ve found, anyway. Not a big deal at all though, as one can easily open the shell and rearrange the buttons in whatever pattern they like (the PS pattern is easy to achieve with the button colors it comes with). Or one could grab a new set of C-Buttons from 8bitDo’s website (/collections/repair-parts), if they really wanted some with double-shot symbols. They are priced extremely reasonably! And while you’re there, I would consider throwing a GB-themed D-Pad in your cart too; as its feel is superior to the SNES-themed D-Pad, imo.You have to be a little more careful with transparent hard-plastics than you do with opaques, because they are a little more brittle. Something to do with how they achieve transparency.. Especially when the ambient temp is colder. And I can’t confirm this yet but, I would not be surprised to find that one could tint this clear shell with their own color, by applying RIT dye (the type meant for synthetic materials) to the inside of the shell and setting it with low-heat from a hair-dryer, then rinsing away the excess. Of course tinted transparent paint, applied to the inside of the shell, would probably work too, with less risk.Anyway, this controller is pure, unadulterated ‘win’, imo! If you like the transparent look, I highly recommend picking up a pair of these (one as a backup, just in case it turns out to be limited-time only).

Personally, I adore it
Works as intended, SLIGHT delay in inputs; only noticeable if you are doing competitive or timed actions

Great for on the go or at home
This thing is awesome. It’s cute colors, lightweight/portable, has everything you need. I don’t like the switch 2 joycons and this is a good replacement. I had a little trouble pairing it, but I’ll say it was mostly operator error.

Preferred over the CKRD Neo controller
This control is PERFECT!!! I bought it so i could play Fornite on my mobile devices (Samsung Fold 3 & Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra). It handles beautifully. The controller & buttons are very responsive and i have not experienced any lag whatsoever. The contoller fits perfect in the hand and is not bulky in anyway. I bought a CKRD Neo controller after this one to keep at work so i can play during lunch (and because i always wanted one), but i wish i wouldve rather just bought a second Genki 8Bitdo. I think i still will and keep the CKRD as a back up for my Switch. The Genki x 8Bitdo Pocketpro is so sleek and the joysticks are nice and tight and not as wobbly feeling as the CKRD. Its probably just gaming preference because with these 1st person shooter type games you want you joysticks responsive as possible to move and look quickly. I feel with the CKRD controller you have to move the joystick more to get the same type of action. Im not bashing the CKRD Neo controller, i just prefer this one. The CKRD is far more bulkier. If youre at a cross between the 2 like i once was for mobil gaming, stick with this one, the Genki x 8Bitdo Pocketpro is the way to go!

Small, Portable, Cute
I love this little gamepad. It’s small and portable. It’s nice to look at. And it works great. I like that it has different modes, which causes to appear as either an Xbox controller, or as a switch controller, or a generic game pad. The main benefit is that it is very compatible with many platforms. For example, Xbox mode works great with Steam. I have only one complaint — I really wish the shoulder triggers were analog.

The best SNES style controller you can get
Title says it all. Also extremely easy to use the analogue sticks if needed
