Night and Day Difference!
The globular cluster is easy to install. The printed instructions aren’t super clear, but the installation video on the Amazon product page is very easy to follow. The stock pads pop off pretty easily and the globular ones just snap on.The difference the globular cluster makes for the PSVR2 experience is night and day. With the stock pads, it always took a minute to make sure the PSVR2 was perfectly level and aligned with my face when I first put it on. And during gameplay, I’d have to CONSTANTLY adjust the headset as the sweet spot would slip out of focus and things would get blurry. I’d also have to crank the PSVR2 headset so tight (so it wouldn’t constantly slip) that it hurt my head.In contrast, the globular cluster pads basically perfectly align the PSVR2 when you put it on. They do an EXCELLENT job of keeping everything in place. I found these pads made the image much sharper, made it so I rarely have to readjust the headset, and they’re just far more comfortable than the stock PSVR2 pads. They also helped reduce motion sickness (from the headset moving around and the graphics going out of focus). With the globular cluster, the visuals stay in focus and I can just enjoy the games instead of fighting the headset.The only time I find myself still having to adjust the headset is when I look straight up (like climbing in Horizon VR). That causes the back pad to slip up my head a bit. But even then, the globular cluster keeps things mostly in place and the graphics still don’t really blur much at all… I just have to pull the back pad down a bit when I return my head to normal position.

Best comfort head strap/weight balance for PSVR2!
So I researched a lot of different items on and off Amazon, and waffled at paying this price for this set, but I am glad I did. 1) This is a well made and well put together item. You can tell that there was care and a lot of thought went into the design of this, 2) the fit is amazing. Not only do you have multiple areas to tighten and loosen the straps, you also have multiple choices for padding to adjust the thickness so it is a perfect fit, and 3) it comes with pieces made with different fabrics so you can use one for workouts where you may sweat more and need to wash it often, and the other is more of a softer, leather-like comfort fit for when you chill and game.When I first put it on, it was like night and day. So comfortable, I can now use my VR2 for hours with no issues or the visor falling down and hurting the bridge if my nose. It is well worth the money, buy this kit, you will be glad you did. I sure am.

Must have if you own a PSVR2
The PSVR2 is a great piece of equipment with the exception of comfort. I was surprised to find it so uncomfortable with longer sessions that I had to find a way to fix it. This comfort mod makes it 1000x better. I can now play much longer without any discomfort. Installation was a little tricky because of the removal of the original parts but once it’s in, it’s a great fit. I no longer feel the pinch on my nose or squeeze on my forehead. It’s design evenly distributes the weight of the headset for optimum comfort. I can’t recommend this enough.

A huge improvement in comfort over the OEM pads
This kit actually enables me to enjoy PSVR2!The stock plastic “pads” were something with which I could never be comfortable; after a few minutes — if I didn’t have everything perfectly adjusted — I would break out in a cold sweat, and would have a headache from the pressure on the back of my skull. I mostly stopped playing PSVR2 due to it being so uncomfortable, and definitely never used it for more than 10-15 minutes.This kit however, with its variety of pad options, and center strap, make the HMD feel lighter; it feels comfortable almost immediately after putting it on, and fits nicely. I no longer break-out in a cold sweat, and I don’t get that horrible pressure-point headache. The first day I got this kit I played Walkabout Mini Golf for almost 2 hours without any discomfort. Installation instructions were also very easy to follow.This product is highly recommended; it literally transformed my PSVR2 from a piece of useless junk that made me feel bad into functional technology which I actually look forward to using.

Almost essential purchase for PSVR 2 users!
As someone who happily used Sony’s first PSVR headset for six years, I was quick to purchase the second iteration. One of the things I loved about PSVR 1 was how comfortable it was – I regularly put in six-hour sessions playing Skyrim, No Man’s Sky, and any number of other games. Sadly, and despite initial reviews, the PSVR 2 took a huge step backwards in comfort – the stock padding is moderately uncomfortable to start with, but because of the incredibly tiny sweet spot of the headset’s fresnel lenses, you have to tighten the headset to such a degree to keep it from moving on your head that I found I would start to have a headache within 30 minutes.Enter the Globular Cluster comfort mod, which completely fixes that. You get a choice of both front and back padding solutions, and adjustable height for the back pad, so you can get the headset set up just the way you want it. It’s really frustrating that we have to spend an extra $50 to get the comfort and stability Sony’s first headset had right out of the box, but I’m grateful that this solution exists. It’s a little scary to take off the old padding and install the new, but the kit provides the pry bar tool and reasonably intelligible instructions, so I was able to get everything set up in about 5–10 minutes, and I was going slowly to make sure I didn’t screw anything up.

Transforms the comfort of the headset
The hype is deserved, this should be standard on every PSVR2. Easy to install and remove and so much more comfortable and easy to wear than the OG cushions. It comes with a number of different cushion options to try and makes positioning the headset trivial and keeps it in place while playing. If you have a PSVR2 just bite the bullet and get this.

I struggled with the pressure points the stock head straps gave me on the PSVR2 and was recommended this one from someone on Reddit. I ordered it and it turned out to be amazing. The pressure points that shortened my length of play before were gone.The setup was very easy with instructions included. (There is also videos on YouTube explaining how to install it too)The kit comes with three different types of materials and every single one is very comfortable on your face. The sweat proof material keeps you dry when you’re moving a lot or exercising. My personal favourite is the fabric+gel+foam breathable forehead pad. (The top one in the 1st photo) The addition of a head strap is exceptional to balance the weight of the headset. The big rear pad really keeps your head stable and less likely to slip. Ever since I installed this mod, I have stopped adjusting my headset for the “sweet spot” since I don’t have to.The value for money is debatable as it is quite expensive but as for now this is the best on the market and I think it’s worth the price.I truly recommend this to everyone who has a PSVR2, this is very much worth it and I hope you find this helpful.

Soy de la CDMX, el producto me llegó en excelentes condiciones. Para instalarlo entré a la página oficial de Youtube y en menos de 10 minutos los pude colocar. Antes de comprarlos el visor PSVR2 me dolía la frente y la cabeza y desde que les puse éstos mods puedo decir que es una enorme diferencia de comodidad. Hasta pude centrar mejor el visor y tener una calidad de imágen a mi vista porque antes se me bajaba mucho. Le coloqué de frente el accesorio gris y de atrás el de Gel y es muy cómodo. Se los recomiendo mucho a todos aquellos que tienen un PSVR2. Le doy 5 estrellas 🙂

Prijzig, maar het maakt de headset een stuk comfortabeler. Ook het opzetten gaat gemakkelijker en de headset is beter in balans. De originele headset moest ik na 30 minuten afzetten, maar met deze aanpassing houd ik het gemakkelijk twee uur uit. De padding aan de voorkant had van mij nog iets groter gemogen. De montage kost wat tijd, maar de instructies zijn duidelijk en met wat geduld is het goed te doen.
