Very good information for people looking for career change
Like many other books I picked this one up not because I want to be a life coach, but in hope it will help me improve my current business. This book will provide you with general outlook on life coaching as a business model, it does not go in too many details but it does provide a good way to start if this is something you might consider as your future career .

General, but helpful.
This is a general overview of life coaching and gives broad suggestions on how to be successful. If you are considering coaching for the very first time this is a good introduction to the business. It’s clear concise and certainly lays out a roadmap. I would have appreciated more thorough guidance including some sample forms, a more thorough discussion on the business side such as the benefits of an S Corp vs LLC, etc. still a great quick read.

Overall Picture Nicely Presented
Great, practical overview! The author did a great job outlining all steps of the life coaching process. This book displays great credibility. I’m definitely going to check out the website and see what the actual program is all about!

Not great
31 pages of basic info I could have written. Nothing helpful.

Highly recommended
This book gives a very informative overview on how to become a good life coach. I really liked the chapter on how to promote your coaching services. That alone was well worth the price of the book

save your money!
1 star is being generous. This book is all based on opinion and absolutely nothing on theory. All content was vague. There are no cited sources to back up anything that was presented. The 7 chapter and 55 pages… made for a quick read because there was more white space than text/content. I was really disappointed with this book. I would like a refund if possible. Save your money!

a perfect primer
I’m just now looking at moving from a conventional licensed counseling vocation to a Life Coach status. I knew nothing of Life Coaching, and this book was a perfect initiation. It is kind of a primer, outlining the principal elements of breaking into a Life Coach business. As such, I recommend it.I’m now on to deeper materials and to contacting other professionals, for help in setting up a Life Coach business.Bob Baird, Scottsdale, AZ

Para quem já tem algum conhecimento, mesmo superficial, do que é Coaching, esse livro nada acrescenta, além de obviedades. No fundo, e uma mera peça de propaganda para o autor vender os seus serviços.
